Background: You never knew your parents, hence why there is nothing behind them. Your parents died when you were younger, causing your aunt to take you in and adopt you. You've lived a fairly good life, right on the edge of comfortable. When you were first coming into your quirk, you were scared, but your aunt helped you figure it out as she can manipulate heat, her sister, your mother, could manipulate water. Your father was a gentle giant per-say that could bend wind to his very will, his quirk more powerful as he grew older. You were an only child before your adaptation, so having "siblings" was nice. It took some adjusting, but you finally got used to not being an only child anymore. It was still a struggle for you to call your aunt "mom", so you just gave up on it. It's not like she was the one who gave birth to you as it is. Yes, she was legally your 'mother' but it wasn't the same so you just kept things how they were before she adopted you.
