6:15 am the dreadful time when my alarm woke me this morning. I grunt as I roll out of bed and get ready for school. I take a quick shower and dry my hair, throwing it up into a messy bun for the day. I do a light spout of makeup and smile to myself. As I put on my uniform, I realized it was a little smaller than normal, noting that my aunt dried it in the wrong setting. My shirt was a little shorter, sitting a little above my hips, and my skirt just barely covering my bottom. Just don't bend over. I think to myself as I lean down to get my bag. I hear my phone buzz as I see a text from Shoto, stating he was outside my door. I couldn't help but smile as I grabbed an apple and made my way out of the house.
"Good morning darling." I smile as I take the cup of boba from him. He places a kiss on my head as we make our way to the bus to head to school. I lean into him as we take our seats, his thumb caressing my knee.
"How did you sleep?" He inquires as he sips his boba.
"Good! Probably the best sleep I've had in a while. You?" I ask as I turn and look at him, sipping my tea slowly.
"I could hardly sleep as I couldn't stop thinking about you." I blush at his cheesy line, but it still made me feel good. He pecks my cheek as he notices my blush and just holds me close as we finish out the bus ride.
Once we arrive at school, Shoto was not shy to show us off. It surprised me as I figured he would be a little discreet about it as he isn't the one to show emotion, but it made me feel good that he was willing to show me off and show the class that we were together.
"Hi guys!" Mina perks as she sees us enter, her eyes going to our hands as her smile grows. She throws me a thumbs up and I smile back at her, nodding my head. I sit on Shoto's desk, playing with his hair as we talk about the day before and what we would be doing this weekend if we didn't have to do any heavy training when I hear Yaoyorozu chime in.
"Your uniform is a little short, don't you think?" She states in a condescending tone. I raise my eyebrow at her, wondering what her problem was. We were friends at the start. What happened? "Yea, I know. It was dried wrong. I'm still covered, aren't I?" I snap back as I adjust my jacket. She rolls her eyes at me and takes her seat, minding her own business.
"Don't worry about her, she's always like that." Kiri states as he walks over to me and Todoroki. "I can tell. I'm not hurting anyone, am I? No. So she can leave me alone or we can battle it out." I reply as I finish off my tea. As I get up to throw away my cup, I hear a quiet whistle come from behind me, my face red as I had forgotten that even the slightest movement would raise my skirt. As I turn back around, I see Shoto glaring at Kiri, only confirming that he was the one who whistled.
"Out of my way you fucking extra." I feel Bakugo bump into me forcefully as he walks into the classroom, just barely missing the late bell by 3 minutes. "Asshole." I mutter as I take my seat, making sure he heard me as I said it. I wasn't a fan of Bakugo, and I'm really hoping I can teach him a lesson sooner or later.
"Okay class, today Midnight is going to be leading the class. So, do as she says." I can't help but let out a small chuckle as I see Mr. Aizawa standing at the front of the room looking like a giant banana in his sleeping bag. Our attention is soon drifted from Aizawa to the door as Midnight enters the room, everyone, especially Mineta, fixated on her.
"Good morning children! Today, we're going to be working on your hero names! Your hero name needs to be something that people can remember but is also easy to say and kinda goes along with your quirk. I will give each of you time to come up with a name and then you will present it to the class!" Midnight's voice was cheery and hopeful as she explained today's task. I had never really taken the time to think of a hero name, as I had never thought I would actually make it to UA.
As my classmates continue to present their names, I begin to ponder as to what I should call myself. I can bend air and water to my will, but what fits with that? Storm? Yea, let's go with that! "L/N, your turn!" I take a deep breath as I walk to the front, slowly turning my board. "The ability to control air and water at my will. Hero name: Storm." I wasn't as confident as the others, but Midnight seemed to think my name was perfect, so I guess that's all that counts. I make my way back to my seat, an infamous 'tch' sound coming from Bakugo. "It suits you." I hear Shoto whisper to me as I sit back down, a smile forming on my face.
