As soon as he managed to free me... I used my magic against Jadis, and we succeed in overthrowing her. But Aslan... the Great Lion, the true King of Narnia was the one that truly defeated her by ending her life. But even so... I can't forget what happened all those years. I can't forget my painful past.

Y/N P.O.V

We are currently gathering in our meeting room. By we... I mean the five Kings and Queens of Narnia. I sits in between Edmund and Lucy. While Peter and Susan sits across from us.

"I have a mission for Y/N and Edmund..." he said. I turn my attention to the high King. "What mission, Peter?" I said. "I want both of you to explore to the west... look for more possible allies..." he said. I hum in response.

"May I ask why you chose to send Edmund and me? Do you have a valid reason?" I said. "Because the two of you are the strongest fighters. Y/N... you're great at forming a plan, and your magic might come in handy for any possible battle... while Edmund are the strongest in sword fighting. We can't all go... because someone needs to look after Cair Paravel..." he said. I nod my head as a sign that I understand his point.

"When should we leave then?" Edmund said. Peter turns to look at him. "As soon as you can. The faster the better" he said. I nod my head. "Hmm very well. Then... we better start packing. Don't you think so, Ed?" I said, standing up. He turns to look at me and nod his head. He stands up as well and we walk out of the room.

I make my way to my room and starts to pack all of my belongings. I'm excited to go for a journey. It's been so long since we have an adventure. So it's about time we go for one.

The Next Day

Edmund and I are standing in front of the boat that will take us. We have about 20 crew mates. They will help us anytime we need.

"Be careful out there, okay Y/N?" Susan said, as she place a hand on my shoulder. I smile at her and nod my head. Lucy walks forward. "If you have trouble... send us a notice, okay? We'll come to help as fast as possible..." she said. I nod my head. "Of course..." I said. She pulls me into a hug. I smile and hugs her back.

Then Edmund and I get into the ship. I wave at the others as we start to sail into the see. I lean my back against the railing as I watch into the distance. I love the feeling of soft breeze... it made me feel freedom.

Edmund walks towards me and smiles. "Enjoying the breeze, huh?" He said. I nod my head and smile at him. "Yeah... it makes me feel free..." I said. I turn my body to face the sea. I spread my arms on either side of me, closing my eyes.

Edmund P.O.V

I turn my head to look at Y/N. She have her eyes close. I smile softly at the sight of her. Y/N's truly a beautiful person.

"Ed?" She said. I snap out of it, not realizing I have been staring at her. "Uh what?" I said. "Why are you staring at me like that?" She asked. "Uhh... um... I..." I stuttered out, not knowing what to say.

"Are you okay? You're starting to grow a little red..." she said, looking at me with a worried expression. I look away, trying to hide the redness on my cheeks. Why do I feel so nervous around her? Well... I know exactly why... I'm in love with her.

Time-skip

Edmund and I are currently having a meal. We sat across from each other, while talking about anything that come to our minds.

"I wonder what kind of place we're going to find..." he said. I shrug my shoulders. "I don't know... we'll just wait and see... I guess" I said. He hums and nod his head in agreement.

Suddenly, the ship starts to shake violently. "What's going on out there?!" I said. I stand up and walks out of the room. Edmund following behind me.

"A storm, Your Majesty!" One of the crew said. My eyes widened. I turn to Edmund and grab his hand as a wave comes crashing on us. The wave is higher then our ship.

I lift my hand and form a shield around us. I'm not strong enough to cast a shield around the ship. I can only form it around Edmund and I. The wave crash onto the ship, sending it crashing under the ocean.

"Hold onto me, Edmund?! Do not let go!!" I said. He holds my hand tighter. I'm starting to get tired from using my magic. But I force myself to keep the shield up. If I stop, Edmund and I are going to die.

I feel tears streaming down my cheeks as I watch the others drowning under the water. "I'm so sorry..." I cried out. Edmund looks at me with a sad expression on his face.

After what feels like forever. The wave eventually calmed down. Since there's air inside this shield that surrounds us. We start to float up. Then the shield disappear, we instantly fall into the water.

We swim up and take a deep breath. I instantly burst into tears as I look around me to see the ruins of the ship. Edmund swims towards me, wrapping his arms around me.

"They're all gone, Edmund..." I cried out. "Shh... it's not your fault, Y/N..." he whispered in a hush tone. I bury my face in his neck. I start to feel exhausted. But I try to keep myself awake, because we're in the middle of the ocean.

"Edmund... I'm tired..." I said. "Me too, Y/N... hang on..." he said. He lets me go and I move my feet to keep me floating. Edmund push a piece of plank to me. He helps me climb onto it. He moves next to me and lay down. Luckily, it's big enough for us to fit.

"Sleep... I'll look after you..." he said. He wraps his arms around me. I lean my head against his chest, and close my eyes. I shiver from the coldness of the water. Edmund notices this and starts to rub my shoulders, trying to warm me up.

My eyes eventually starts to flutter close. I snuggle closer to Edmund's warmth. I let myself drift off to sleep.
