Chapter 28

Previously on Chapter 27

Professor asked a man name Barty. "The Rules are absolute... the Goblet of Fire constitutes a binding magical contract. Mr. Potter and Ms. L/N have no choice. They are... as for tonight... the Triwizard Champions" he said. I turn to look at Harry with a worried face. How can this happen? Who would enter our names??

-Draco The Ferret-

Y/N P.O.V

Harry and I are making our way back to the common room of Gryffindor. I know for sure everyone there would demand an answer. But I don't know what to say at all. I don't even know how my name is entered into the Goblet of Fire.

"Y/N" I hear someone calls out my name. I turn to the voice and see it's my dad. "Yes, Professor" I said. He walks towards me until he stands in front of me. "I need to speak to you" he said. "Okay" I said.

"Alone..." he said, eyeing Harry who's standing next to me. I turn to look at Harry. "Oh, alright... I'll see you at Gryffindor" he said. I nod my head. He turns around and starts walking again.

I turn to look at my dad. I gulp when he looks at me with a very stern expression. "What is this, Y/N? Did you enter your name?" He asked. "No... I don't know what happened..." I said, shaking my head. "Are you sure?" He asked. I nod my head. He lets out a sigh. He walk towards me and wraps his arms around me.

"Just be safe, okay?" He said. "Okay, dad..." I said. I nod my head, as I hug him back. He gently pat my head. "Now... of you go. The other will wonder where you are" he said. "Bye, dad..." I said. He smiles at me. I turn around and head to Gryffindor.

I said the password to the Fat Lady. The door opens and I make my way inside. Edmund, Harry, Ron and Hermione are gathering in the common room. They turn their heads as I enter the room.

Edmund stands up and walks towards me. "Did you enter your name?" He asked. I let out a sigh. I just remove his hands. "For the last time... I DO NOT enter my name! Why did everyone kept asking that?" I said, anger is evident in my voice. He flinched at my tone.

"Sorry, Ed... I'm just frustrated by how people kept pressuring me. When I don't even know what in the name of Aslan is going on!" I said. His eyes soften. He walks towards me and wrap his arms around me.

"I'm sorry, Y/N... I should've known better" he said. I just lean my head against his chest. Feeling tired of all the unwanted attention. Edmund caress my hair softly, as he sway our body back and forth.

Harry walks towards us and gently place a hand on my shoulder. "We should probably get some sleep. We need some energy to continue. Who knows what we'll face tomorrow..." he said. I just nod my head in agreement. Edmund pulls away from the hug. I start to head to my room with Hermione.

I enter the bedroom. I change my clothes and lay down on the bed. I place my hands behind my head and stare at the ceiling. I hope nothing bad will come out of this.

I just wanna have a peaceful life. But I guess that's not a thing for a witch. I let out a sigh and turn to lay on my side. I close my eyes and let myself drift off to sleep.

Harry and I are currently walking through the hall of the school. Harry have figured out that the first task will be us facing the dragons. There's a lot of dragons back in Narnia. While I'm able to control them... I'm not sure of the ones here.

As we walk passed people. I can see them wearing a pin on their chests that said "Potter Stinks." I furrow my eyebrow in confusion. Why would they wear pins like that? But none of them wear anything about me. Which I'm glad of... but I feel bad for my brother.

"Why the long face, Potter?" I hear someone said. I turn my head to see Draco, sitting on a tree. I can hear Harry heaving out a sigh next to me. He knew that Draco is up to no good.

"My father and I have a bet you. I think you won't last 10 minutes in the task. He disagree..." he said. He jumps of the tree. He turns to his goons, letting out a laugh. "He thinks you won't last 5" he said. He starts to laugh as if it were the funniest thing he'd ever said.

He turns to look at me. "Different story for Y/N. He thinks you're a true champion..." he said. I scoff at what he said. "Oh yeah? And who asked for both of your opinions? They're meaningless" I said, glaring at him. Harry walks towards him.

"Y/N's right. I don't care what your father thinks, Malfoy. He's vile and cruel. While you're pathetic" he said, glaring at him. "Pathetic?" I hear Draco said. He takes out his wand.

"Oh no you don't, sonny!" Someone said. I turn my head to see Professor Moody. He use his wand and turn Draco into a ferret. Everyone burst out laughing as Professor Moody starts playing around with the ferret.

"Professor! You shouldn't do that!" I said, trying to stop him. I can hear footsteps and turns my head to see Professor McGonagall. She walks towards us and notice the ferret.

"Is that... is that a student?" She said. "Technically, it's a ferret..." he said. He grabs Goyle's pant and place Draco inside. Crabbe tries to pull him out, but he bits his finger. Draco crawls out from under his pant.

I point my wand, turning Draco back into his human form. "Thank you, Y/N" Professor McGonagall said. I just give her a smile. She turns to Professor Moody and start scolding him. Professor Moody make a face at Professor McGonagall as she walks away. He turn to look at Harry and I.

"Come with me, both of you..." he said. Harry and I look at each other. I shrug my shoulder and follow Professor Moody. Harry following close behind me. Are we in trouble? Whatever... he's probably only talking about the task.

Time-skip

It's now free time. I'm sitting by the window, while reading a book. I need some time to be alone. So after I ate my meal, I walk away from the others. Edmund wants to accompany me, but I told him I need some space. He just nods his head and didn't argue with me. That's how I got alone.

I hear footsteps coming towards me. "Hey..." the person said. I turn my head to look at the person. "Oh, Draco..." I said. I turn away and look at the sky again.

"I wanna say thank you for turning me back into a human form..." he said. "Yeah... I'm not gonna let anyone get treated that way. So... don't think too much about it. Anyway... the next class is about to start" I said. I stand up and was about to walk away.

I feel a hand grab mine. I turn my head to look at Draco. He leans forward and place his lips against mine. I froze as his lips makes contact with mine. I pull away and stare at him wide-eyed.

"What was that for?" I said. He stares at me in the eyes. "I really like you, Y/N..." he said, smiling softly at me. "I... it's too sudden. I don't know what to say" I said. He nods his head, still smiling at me. He lift his hand and gently caress my cheek.

"I know, Y/N... just take all the time you need to give me an answer. I'll wait for you no matter how long it'll take..." he said, smiling at me. He give a soft kiss on my forehead.

He turns around and walks away. I stare at where Draco just stood a few seconds ago. I did not expect that to happen. Draco likes me? But what about me? Do I see him that way?
