Chapter 19

Previously on Chapter 18

"What's so funny?!" I said. "I see you finally know the truth, huh? But you think Harry's parents are yours too? Well... Lily was. But not James. You and Harry are half-siblings. James isn't your biological father..." he said. My eyes widened as I look at him in shock.

Wait... what?

-The Truth-

Y/N P.O.V

"What... what do you mean? If Harry and I are half-sibling because we have different fathers. Who is my real father?" I asked. "Your real father... have been with you these whole time. Don't you notice any of the professors in Hogwarts acting quite fondly of you?" He said. I furrow my eyebrow as I think about it.

"My dad... a professor at Hogwarts?" I said, under my breath. "Yes... he is..." he said. I start to think back during my stay at Hogwarts, trying to make out any of the male professors. Until my mind stops as I think of one. Who's been rude towards anyone, even the trio. But... for some reasons, he's acting nicely when it comes to me.

"N-No way..." I said. My eyes widening in realization as I finally figure out who's my real father is. "Okay. That's enough with the talking. Don't try to poison my sister's head!" Harry said. Black turns to look at him. Hermione steps in front of him.

"If you want to kill him. You're gonna have to go through me" she said. "Oh... someone will die tonight. But it's not him" he said. "Yes. Because the one that'll die will be you!" Harry said. He moves around Hermione and lunges at Black, strangling him. He take out his wand.

"Expelliarmus!" someone said. Harry's wand flies out of his hand. I turn my head to see Professor Lupin. He gestures Harry to get up. I walk up to him and gently pull him up.

Professor Lupin stood by Black. They seem to talk about something. Then Professor Lupin offers his hand to Black, who took it and stands up. They give each other a quick embrace.

"No! You're a traitor!" Hermione said. I turn to look at her in confusion. She turns to us. "I've been hiding your secret for you!" She said again. "What secret?" I asked.

"He's a werewolf! That's why he's been missing out classes!" She said. "How long have you know?" He said, turning to Hermione. "Ever since Professor Snape gave us the essay" she said. "Hmm... I'm very impressed. You really are the brightest witch of your age" he said.

"Enough talking! Let's kill him!" Black said. "Wait..." Professor Lupin tries to say. "I've been waiting! For twenty years. In Azkaban!!" Black yelled angrily. "Just wait... we have to tell him the truth..." he said.

"Oh I know the truth. You betray them. My parents are dead because of you!" Harry said. "No. Someone did betray your parents. But it's somebody I believed to be dead..." Professor said. "Who?" I said. "Peter Pettigrew! And he's here... right in this room!" Sirius Black said. I look around in confusion.

"Come out Pettigrew! Come out! Come out and play!" He said. His wand suddenly flew out of his hand. I turn my head to see Professor Snape. He have his wand pointed at him.

"I figured I'd find you bunch here. Come on" he said, gesturing us to follow him. I feel Harry inching close to me. He take my wand out of my hand. He points it at Black.

"Expelliarmus!" He said, quickly turning his wand at Professor Snape. The impact sends him crashing into the old wooden bed. "Are you out of mind??" I said. "You attacked a teacher!" Hermione said.

"Tell me about Pettigrew" Harry said, pointing the wand at Professor Lupin. "He was at school with us. Before he was our friend" he said. "But you said he was dead" Harry said. "I thought so too... until you mentioned him in the map" he said. "The map lies then..." I said.

"No... the map... NEVER lies. Pettigrew is alive and he's right there!" He said, pointing across us. I turn my head to see he's pointing at Ron... or at the rat he's holding.

"Me?? That's guy's a mental!" Ron cried out. "Not you!! Your rat!!" He said. "Scabbers been in my family for..." he trailed off. "Twenty years! A bit long for a normal garden rat! He's missing a toe, is he not??" He said. "So what??" Ron said, hugging his dear pet.

"The only thing they found of Pettifrew were..." I said. "Finger! Yes! He ran away from me... and then he transformed himself into a rat!" He said. "Show me..." Harry said. Black walks towards Ron and snatch the rat from him.

"What are you going to do with him! Leave him alone! Harry, Y/N! Please tell him!!" Ron cried out. Hermione holding him back to stop him from trying to get his rat back.

Black place the rat on the old piano and starts to cast spells on it. But the rat keeps running away from him. Just as the rat was about to run through the hole in the wall, the spell manage to hit him thus turning him into human form.

Professor Lupin and Sirius Black grabs him. They pull him out of the hole. He looks around with a scared expression. He turns to look at Harry.

"Harry... you look just like your father. We were best friend!!" He said. He turns to look at me. "Merlin... Y/N... is that really you?? Oh you're so beautiful. You are just like Lily!" He said, walking towards me.

Edmund steps in front of me, pointing the sword at him. "Stand back... don't come any closer" he said. Sirius black grabs Pettigrew. "How dare you talk to them? How dare you talk about James and Lily in front of me?!" He yelled. Pettigrew runs around the piano, whimpering in fear.

"You sold James and Lily to Voldemort, didn't you?" Professor Lupin said. "I didn't mean to... Voldemort and all his weapon. What about you, Sirius? What would you done?? What would you done??" He said. "I would've died!! I would have died than betray my friends!!" Sirius Black yelled. Pettigrew escape from under the piano and rushes towards the door. Harry quickly blocks his path. Pettigrew starts whispering in Harry's ear.

Sirius and Professor Lupin pulls Pettigrew away from Harry. "Come on... together!" Sirius Black said. "No!!" Harry yelled, stopping the two of them. I can see annoyance in their face. Professor Lupin turns to look at him.

"Harry... this man doesn't deserve your mercy" he said. "My father wouldn't want his friends to be a killer..." Harry said. "Bless you, boy! Bless you!!" Pettigrew said, kneeling before Harry. "Get off me! I said we take him back to Professor Dumbledore. After that... the dementors can have him" he said. Pettigrew whimpered in fear at what Harry said.

Time-skip

I walk next to Hermione. As Sirius and Harry helps an injured Ron to walk. Professor Lupin is holding onto a squirming and whimpering Pettigrew. I turn to look at him and roll my eyes.

"Turn me into a silk worm! Turn me into a filthy dog! Anything but the dementors!" He said. He breaks free from Professor Lupin's hold and rushes to Ron.

"Ron... haven't I been a good pet? A good friend? You won't let the dementors have me, right?" He said. Ron just looks at him in disgust. Pettigrew turns to me and walks towards me. Edmund moves to stand in front of me.

"Y/N... please spare me..." he pleaded. I gently pat Edmund in the shoulder. He turns to look at me. "I can handle it..." I said. He just nods his head. He slowly move aside. I point my wand at Pettigrew.

"You know fully well... that I'm capable more than just a mere magic. I can end you myself right here, right now. You brought this mess upon yourself! So deal with it! Now get moving!" I said, glaring at him. I wave my wand at him, gesturing him to move. He whimpers and turns around to start walking again. Sheesh... what a wimp.
