Chapter 35

"Go and get change... I'm guessing you can't sleep after the nightmare. Care to join me in the common room? The others are there too" She said. I just nod my head at what she said. She smiles at me and gets up. She walks out of my room, leaving me alone with my thoughts. I drop on the bed, and stares at the ceiling.

What was that?

Y/N P.O.V

After changing my clothes, I make my way outside of my room. Just like Hermione said earlier, they are all gathering in the common room. I smile softly at them and make my way over to them, taking a seat next to Hermione.

Harry turns to look at me. "Hermione told us that you had a nightmare..." he said. I just nod my head, smiling weakly at him. "Yeah" I said. Ron turns his head to look at me.

"What was it about?" He asked. I let out a sigh and lean my head against the backrest of the couch. "I'd rather not talk about it..." I said, in a hushed voice. But loud enough enough for the four of them to hear.

Hermione place a hand on my neck, pulling me to her. I place my head on her shoulder. She starts to play with my hair. I just close my eyes, letting myself relax in her soothing gestures.

"Thank you, Mione... that really made me feel a lot better..." I said, in a soft voice. I pull away from the hug and turn to look at her. She smiles softly at me and nods her head.

There's a moment of silence, until Harry stands up. He starts to stretch above his head. "I'm tired... I'm going to bed. You coming, Ron?" He said, turning to look at Ron, who seem like he have dozed off.

Hermione nudges Ron, making him jump awake from her action. "Huh?" He said, looking around with a confused expression. Harry let out a sigh at him.

"I said, I'm going to bed. Are you coming?" He said. "Oh, yeah..." he said, nodding while standing up as well. Hermione turns to look at me and smiles. "I'll be going to bed too..." she said. She stands up and walks away without a word.

The only one left in the living room is just me and Edmund. I glance at him, who's sitting on the other end of the couch. I let out a soft sigh and stands up. I was about to walk away, when I feel a hand grabs my wrist. I turn my head to see it's Edmund.

"What do you want?" I said, in a cold tone. He looks hurt by the tone I'm giving him. It almost makes me feel bad. But then I remember what he did. I try to pull my hand away from his grip, but he tightens it.

"I'm sorry, Y/N. It was stupid of me... I should not have done that. I should have ask you for consent before kissing you. Please forgive me..." he said, in a pleading tone. I can hear the regret in his tone. I just stay silent, not saying anything back to him.

"What can I do to make it up to you, Y/N? So you don't hate me?" He asked, in a desperate tone. I let out a sigh and turn to look at him. "I am upset at what you did, Ed... but I could never hate you..." I said.

"But you still won't forgive me?" He said, looking at me with a sad expression. I let out a sigh. I place my free hand on top of his and gently moves his grip. I crossed my arms across my chest.

"I was never angry at you, Ed. I was just upset..." I said. He looks down at what I said. I walk towards him, gently wrapping my arms around his torso. He froze at my action, before relaxing into my embrace.

"I forgive you..." I said, in a soft voice. He wraps his arms around me, in a tight hug. "Thank you, Y/N... and I'm so sorry" he said. I just nod my head, as he bury his face into the crook of my neck.

"Don't do that again... it makes me feel, awkward to be around you" I said. He pulls away from me and nods his head. I smile softly at him and places a soft kiss on his cheek.

"It's almost midnight. We should head to bed. I'll be facing the last round for the Triwizard Tournament. I gotta be in my best shape" I said. He smiles and nod his head in agreement. He leans down and place a soft kiss on my forehead.

"Good night, Ed..." I said. He gives me a quick hug. "Goodnight, Y/N. And thank you for forgiving me" he said. He pulls away from the hug and smiles at me. I ruffles his hair and turns around. I make my way back to my room.

I lay down on my bed and stares at the ceiling. I'm a little scared to go back to sleep. But I know I have to, I need to face the final round. I lift my hand, a soft f/c starts to appear from my hand.

It starts to spread around the room, swirling around in form balls of light. They'll repel any bad dreams. Hopefully, these lights will be enough to prevent me from having nightmares.

I stare at the light flying around the room in circle above me. I turn to lay on my side. I close my eyes and let myself drift off to sleep.

It's now the next day. The day of the final round of the tournament will be tonight. As the time passes, the more nervous I feel. I know we'll be facing the trials inside a maze.

I move to stand up and stretch my arms above my head. The spell works, I don't have any nightmare last night. I think I'll be using that spell more often after what happen.

I grab my towel and head towards the bathroom for a quick shower. I turn the water on, adjusting the temperature according to my preference. I take my clothes off and steps under the water, letting my body relaxes under the water.

Once the shower is done. I wrap the towel around my body and make my way towards my room. I change my clothes into my school uniform. I turn to look at the clock to see it's time for breakfast. So I head outside, continuing my way towards the Dining Hall.

Along the way there, I can't shake the feeling that I'm being watched. I stop walking and turn around. I turn to all direction. But I can't see anyone staring at me.

I furrow my eyebrow in confusion. I just shake my head and turn around, deciding to just ignore it. Maybe it's just in my head because I was pretty shaken up from the nightmare I had last night.

I enter the Dining Hall and take a seat next to Ed. He turns to look at me and smiles softly. "Morning, Y/N" he said. I nod my head. "Good morning, Ed..." I said.

"I see you both have made up..." Harry said. I turn to look at him and nod my head. Hermione claps her hands happily. "Yayy~" she cheered. I let out a soft giggle at her reaction.

Once again, I feel like someone's watching me. I turn to look around the place. But just like earlier, I can't see anyone staring at me. I furrow my eyebrows as I start to frown.

"Is there something wrong, Y/N?" Edmund said. I turn to look at him and shake my head. "No... don't worry, Ed... it's nothing" I said. He stares at me with a worried gaze.

"Are you sure? If something's bothering you, you know you can talk to me..." he said. I nod my head and just give him a reassuring smile. He just nods his head, although I can see that he's not convince. But I just stay silent. I bit my lips as I turn to look at my plate.
