My day had started pretty well, what with MJ and me swinging through Times Square, but things got pretty rough after Beck leaked that whole conspiracy video and the Daily Bugle literally showed it on every big screen throughout the city of New York.

Now everyone knew I was Spider-Man. What else could go wrong right? You had no idea.

As soon as the bulletin ended I swung down from the pole, grabbed MJ, and rushed towards May's house. MJ hung onto me like her life depended on it (I guess it did, technically). Her eyes were closed and her arms tight around me, as I swung as fast as I could. I could see several people below all chattering and clicking photos of me as I swung by. My mind was completely foggy and I could not really understand all that was happening around me. It all seemed a blur as I and MJ finally reached the roof of Aunt May's house. I carried MJ to the front door and dropped her before started swinging away.

"Where the hell are you going, Peter?" MJ yelled behind me.

"I will be back soon" I yelled back as I swung forward. I needed to clear my head. As I swung from street to street, I could see that the clip from the Daily Bugle was repeatedly being shown throughout the city, and as far as I could guess, the whole country. It was a complete disaster. Everyone would know I was Spider-man, and blame me for everything that happened in London. How was I going to explain myself? After thinking and over-thinking for what seemed like a very long time, I swung back to May's house and entered my room through the window. As soon as I entered my spider-sense tingled and I could sense two or three outsiders in my house. I opened my mask, changed my suit, took the nanotech suit, and headed downstairs. On the stairs, I could hear Happy and May talking loudly with two or three males. As I reached downstairs slowly, I saw MJ was there and so was Ned.

The other three guys were dressed in black suits from top-to-bottom. As soon as I entered the room, they turned towards me.

"Peter Parker, a.k.a Spider-Man, you are under arrest by the authority of the FBI. You will now be directly taken in for interrogation. Anything you say or do can and will be used against you in the house of the court" said the man in the lead.

The words echoed through the room as I looked on and one of the other people handcuffed my hand and started pulling me towards the door. May, Ned, and MJ were shouting something about lawyers and crime behind me, but it all came like a blur. I was too stunned to even reply. The FBI took me back to the precinct, where I was seated in the interrogation room, one hand handcuffed to the table. An officer came around after a while and told me I had one phone call and had a chance to get my own lawyer. If I failed to do so, a lawyer would be assigned to me by the court.

The phone was passed onto me, but before I could call May, the door opened and a man walked in. He was clearly blind and had a walking stick and glasses. A pretty girl followed them inside accompanied by Happy. According to them I only could have one visitor and Happy was the one.

Happy introduced the other guy as my lawyer. He reached out his hand and said "Matt Murdock, a pleasure to meet you Mr. Parker. This is Karen Page, and I am your lawyer."
