I took the suit with thanks to Pepper. The suit was another nano-tech one and was enclosed in a spider-shaped body. I attached it to my chest, on my bare skin. It felt a little cool at first but soon adjusted. I dropped of Ned and MJ at the sanctum. After that, I rendezvoused with the others at a remote location south of Manhattan.
I swung down and landed in front of Andrew and Tobey. We were at an under-construction site, which was now completely empty on a Sunday.
"Hey man!" I greeted them
They were suiting up too and had prepared to fight.
"Did you make your web-shooters on your own?" Andrew asked
"Yeah, what about you?" I asked back.
"Yup, same!"
"Wait a minute! You guys don't have organic webbings?" Tobey asked.
"Organic what-now?" Andrew asked.
Then he went on to explain how his webs come out of his body!
"Ok then enough chit-chat," Strange said, appearing from one of his portals.
We nodded once, and Andrew and Tobey pulled their masks on. I clicked on the small spider on my chest, and the suit erupted from it and engulfed it. The new smell of the inside was so good.
"Let's go!" Strange said as he waved his hands and another portal appeared.
It was almost dusk when we stepped onto the portal. It carried us to another location, a back alley to be precise.
"Keep a lookout on the streets. Try to find anything unusual." By saying so, he handed all of us one earpiece each. "Use this to contact each other. Do not engage alone." He warned.
We swung in opposite directions. I swung from building to building, staying in the shadows, while scouring the streets. After a while, a distant siren came to my ears. Immediately, my earpiece crackled, and Andrew's voice came in.
"I found him. He is from my world. Let me tell you, you guys are not going to be pleased. Follow the siren, and come fast. "
I swung as hard as I could and soon reached the place. Andrew was there and so was Strange. Tobey was yet to arrive.
I looked down and the sight that greeted me was not good. Fires raged on the street, as a human-lizard thing destroyed cars and threw things around.
"Where are you Spiderman? Come here and face me!" he bellowed.
"He wants me," Andrew said matter-of-factly.
Tobey came swinging and landed beside me. We were on top of a building just above the Lizard, as Andrew called him.
"Distract him. I will start the spell." Strange told us.
We looked at each other and jumped. We landed behind him.
"Hey there ugly!" Andrew called.
The Lizard turned back and gave a toothy grin. "Spiderman! From when are there 3 or you?"
"Why? Does it scare you?" I asked.
He gave a loud laugh and charged.
