On that day, when the girl disappeared without saying a thing, Haruchiyo, along with Kokonoi, searched everywhere for her. But obviously, they couldn't find her. The boy was devastated. "A", the girl he truly loved, disappeared just like that. He started to think of different scenarios such as, "If only I sent her back that day", "What if she was kidnapped?", "What if-". No one around him could stop him from trying to search for her. But he did give up after a month or so. He finally accepted the fact that she was gone. Maybe she wasn't dead. But gone. Gone from his sight.

Eventually, he fell into darkness.

Haruchiyo started doing drugs.

No one could stop him. Not even Mikey. His one and only King.

Sometime later, Bonten was formed. The horrendous criminal gang was born, and Haruchiyo Sanzu was Bonten's Number 2.

On the other hand, "A", along with her new team, moved to a remote area somewhere in Tokyo. They stayed there for quite a while, trying to figure out a plan to take out Bonten. Or at least, Haruchiyo Sanzu.

"A" had made a new identity for herself. This was to make sure Haruchiyo doesn't find her. She also changed her style in clothing and her hair colour into blue. Over the span of seven years, the female and her team did not make a single move. Instead, they worked in normal places disguising themselves as regular citizens. They were waiting for the right moment to attack Bonten.

They decided that the most perfect time for them to attack will be when Mikey dies. They had to make sure that Bonten's leader dies. And to do this, they had to get someone to leak some information regarding Bonten's hideout to Hanagaki Takemichi. Knowing Takemichi, he would most definitely go find Mikey and try to save him.

But of course, they won't just do that with zero preparations. As they disguised themselves as normal and harmless citizens, "A" and her team secretly got rid of the people who would serve as threats to them; spies, and also other gangs that are around that area.

In 7 years, all they did was kill off Bonten's spies and underlings, and also other gangs. They did it slowly, yet surely to make sure no one suspects anything.

Most definitely, Bonten noticed that something was going on. But they did not know the exact thing that the enemy wanted. They did realise that more and more of their underlings were getting killed in small alleyways or even their own homes. They also knew that all the other gangs in Tokyo were getting defeated one by one, slowly leaving only them and their enemy.

Even after searching, they still couldn't find out anything about their enemy's individual identities. They thought that their enemy was an extremely experienced group of people, but they couldn't find out who the enemy really was. They knew one obvious thing though, that their enemy only wanted them all dead. They were aware that their enemy did not want to take over Tokyo nor did they want to take over Bonten. The enemy only wanted the Bonten executives dead.

So the conclusion they came to was that the enemy held a grudge against them.
