The day ended, and Akihiro walked out of the building, he waited paitently for Light, but instead of him walking out next, Jun did.
Misa had her arm looped through Juns, chattering with her excitedly, Jun didn't look nearly as excited but listened, content to not have to talk as Misa talked enough for both of them.
"Misa," Akihiro whistled, coaxing her over, she whined a bit but waved goodbye to Jun. "Light will be out soon, Hiro! Be patient!" She crosssed her arms, obviously dissapointed her walk was interrupted.
Akihiro shrugged, letting her walk on, Marina left the building, catching up with Misa. "Heyyy! MisaMisa, wanna go to the bar with me? I'll buy~" she chirped, their drinking plans apparently needing a buddy involved
"Uh...I'm not supposed to drink, but, I can go with you!" Misa chriped. Marina turned towards Akihiro.
"Wanna join, Hiroo? You could use a drink-"
"Thanks, Marina, but I'm underage!" Akihiro laughed softly, apologetically waving her on.
If he had to wait any longer Akihiro would've left, but Light walked out, and Akihiro repeated the name he had seen on the I.D.
"Perfect, come with me," Akihiro didn't expect to be dragged along but they followed Light anyways.
"Oh, Light, Light, you gonna kiss him too? It worked on Misa it would work on him right?" Ryuk laughed, his crackling laughter driving Lights mad. He wanted to snap, Misa wasn't convinced by his kiss, she's a lesbian, he was just her trying to be straight. In all honesty he was glad that crush ended. There was no need to kiss Akihiro.
Light led Akihiro to his room, making him wait outside while he got the notebook from it's hiding place, not risking it even with Hiro.
"Spell the name," Light sat in his chair, leg crossed over one another, head tilted and casting shadows on the page.
Akihiro swallowed, nervous ar Lights presance, he radiated...power. Striking fear into him.
He wrote the name and the two waited, knowing they would've received a call.
The seconds passed slowly and yet, no call was made.
They had fallen for a false name.
