"Mother" both Mo Yuan and Ye Hua shouted before running forward. As Bai Qian watched the twins run towards their mother, she frantically called "Mo Yuan, Ye Hua stop!!" but they never heard her call. Their minds are firmly focused on reaching their mother. Bai Qian took off running after them, all the while calling their name as she tried to catch their attention. Without warning Mo Yuan and Ye Hua were thrown back forcefully landing square on each other. The identical stunned, bewildered, then mortified expressions on their faces as they tried to untangle themselves from each other had Bai Qian in stitches. She couldn't help herself from laughing seeing the oh so dignified Master of Kunlun mountain and the Celestial Crown Prince landing in a heap of tangled robes and limbs.
Nüwa watched in amusement as her sons and the fox queen chased each other towards her. Her sons ignored Bai Qian in their haste to reach her. As she watched their progress, she started a mind count "one...two...three...and.." She watched Bai Qian burst out laughing as her sons collided with the barrier and each other.
Mo Yuan who was the first to get to his feet leveled the still laughing fox queen with his steely, very displeased gaze "What's the meaning of this Bai Qian?" With eyes sparkling with mirth and both hands on her hips, Bai Qian responded "Don't get your pants in a twist God of War!! Haven't I told you to listen and observe? You both ignored me when I tried to stop you." Ye Hua who just joined them threw his brother a look that had Mo Yuan clamping back the retort that was about to leave his lips. Ye Hua apologised for their behaviour and then politely asked her to explain. Bai Qian explained that being the caster of the spell, she has to lead them through the barrier to enter the world that their parents lived in.
She took hold of their hands and slowly walked through the barrier which felt like an icy curtain to their skin. As soon as they breached the barrier, Nüwa, with her arms open, ran to meet her sons who were again running towards their mother. As the mother and sons hugged each other, Bai Qian followed slowly to give them the privacy that she knows they'd want.
She casted her eyes around her and marvels at the changing scenery. Before her are mountains and valleys now shrouded in mist instead of the autumnal colours they earlier saw. She smiled as made her way to the lake where she first met Heavenly Father to sit and wait for the time when they had to return back to their own realm.
As she approached the lake, she saw Heavenly Father walking towards her. "Greetings Heavenly Father" Bai Qian greeted Fuxi with a bow. "Qian Qian, what are you doing here? Why haven't you joined my wife and sons?" Fuxi asked. She explained that she wanted to wait by the lake until they had to live. She added that she thought they'd want some privacy to catch up as a family. "Don't be silly. You are a family to us. Come with me."
Nüwa, Mo Yuan and Ye Hua were seated around a low table drinking tea and engaged in a very earnest conversation that the twins failed to notice their arrival although their mother did. She lifted her right hand up to silence Mo Yuan mid question as she lifted her gaze to their direction. Her sons followed her gaze only for both their eyes to nearly jump out of their sockets. Standing before them is Heavenly Father. They immediately stood up then dropped to their knees to kowtow but before they could, Fuxi reached his hands out to them and pulled them to a tight embrace. Although all three were in tears, each sported face splitting smiles.
A pure look of happiness graced the Heavenly Mother's face although her eyes held a sadness which tore at Bai Qian's heart. The will of Fate dictates that this family moment is but fleeting.

N.B. My apologies for the short chapter. I feel that this is the right cut otherwise the chapter will be too long. The next one will definitely be longer.
Many thanks for your patience.
