Red River(Chishui, 赤水)

Taichen Place

Dong Hua Dijun exited the celestial archive of Taichen Palace library.  The archive is where he keeps all valuable artifacts and historical books of the Nine Heavens.  Clutched in his right hand is the ancient map of the Four Seas and Eight Wildernesses.  A map that he himself drew when he was fighting to unite the warring factions of the immortal realms.  Today is the day that he's agreed to meet Mo Yuan and Ye Hua in Kunlun Mountain to discuss the information that he has gathered related to what they agreed is a prophecy. 

Entering his study, he summoned his Starlord Si Ming and Su Jin, the Shao Ren Princes who is also his liaison to the minor sea tribes.  Si Ming and Su Jin arrived within seconds.  Both got down on their knees and bowed to Di Jun.  "Good morning Di Jun." Both stood up after Di Jun waved his hand asking them to be on their feet. 

"Si Ming, I want you to scrutinise the Rock of Three Incarnations for any newborn deity..a woman who is linked to either Ye Hua or Mo Yuan or to both."  Si Ming inclined his head about to ask the reason why but the look in Di Jun's face made him swallow back the question.  "Yes Di Jun."  Bowing his head, preparing to go but before he could leave, Di Jun's voice stopped him in his tracks.  "Si Ming, send a missive to Kunlun Mountain once you finish your task.  I want a verbal report and keep what you find in strictest confidence.  You may go."  Si Ming once again bowed before turning on his heels and left the palace. 

"Su Jin, you are coming with me to Kunlun.  I want you to meet High God Mo Yuan's first disciple Dei Feng.  I have a mission for both of you.  We leave in an hour.  Meet me at the southern entrance to the Nine Heavens."  "Yes Di Jun."  Su Jin replied before leaving. 

Dong Hua was in deep thought.  In the last few days he has discovered which family his fated one was born into.  She is very young at merely 35,000 years old.  The pull in his heart to go see her and see what she looks like has become stronger.  The knowledge that she is a key figure in the prophecy perturbs him. He wants to protect her and keep her out of harm but he knows in his heart that he will not be able to stay away from her once he sees her.

"It looks like fate will have the last laugh." Di Jun sighed.  He summoned Chong Lin and told him that he will be spending a few days in Kunlun and not to be disturbed unless it concerns the safety of the realms.  He then cloud jumped to the southern entrance and met Su Jin before leaving for his meeting with Mo Yuan and Ye Hua.

Kunlun Mountain

Su Jin was excited to be in Kunlun.  She has visited before with Di Jun but the visit was very brief.  She didn't have the chance to explore or see much of the mountain or its inhabitants.  She asked her adopted brother Ye Hua to bring her in one of his regular visits but he only laughs at her.  He teased her about wanting to meet the disciples for a prospective husband because no one in Nine Heavens will have her.  Su Jin couldn't help but blush and be embarrassed whenever she remembered the teasing.  She loves her brother but he can be a pain in the ass when he chooses to.  Su Jin has no illusions of her beauty.  She knows that she is not ugly but she is also far from being an outstanding beauty.  Cheng Yu, her closest confidant, knew of her desire to find a partner who appreciates her for herself but she will die first before letting Ye Hua know about it.  The teasing that she will get from him will be the death of her.  She wished that Ye Hua finds someone that he falls in love hard with so she can then give him a taste of his own medicine.
