Josie POV
Why hello everyone, I bet you all already know me but I'm Josette Saltzman. I'm 16 years old and I go to the Salvatore school. I wanted to go to Mystic Falls High, but since my dad is the headmaster I have to go here. I have a twin sister named Elizabeth or Lizzie, and she's pretty much my best friend. She's one of the few people I've come out as pansexual to, because my dad is homophobic. My mom isn't but I'm scared she's gonna tell him and we're not really that close.Lizzie: "Hey Jo, whatcha doin?"
Josie: "Studying"
Lizzie: "Why are you always studying? It's literally the weekend"
Josie: "I have nothing better to do"
Lizzie: "You could...come to the party with me"
Josie: "You know I don't do parties,
liz"Lizzie: "Come on Jo, live a little"
Josie: "I am living"
Lizzie: "Just come to this one party"
Josie: "No thanks"
Lizzie: "Fine, be your usual boring self"
Josie: "I'd like to think I'm pretty interesting"
Lizzie: "You are interesting. But you could be interesting-er"
Josie: "That's not a word. You would know that if you actually paid attention in class"
Lizzie: "Whatever"
She gets up off her bed and walks out of the room. I assume she's going to the party. It's like 10 pm and I'm getting kinda hungry. It's past curfew, but I decide to go down to the kitchen. When I get there I start making me a sandwich. As soon as I'm done I gorgeous girl walks in. She's a little shorter than me, has long auburn hair and light blue eyes. I haven't seen her here before so I'm guessing she's new.
Girl: "If you take a picture it'll last longer, darling"
Oh god, even her voice is hot. She has a faint British accent. Anyways, her words snap me out of my trance and I finally look away.
Josie: "S-sorry"
I hurriedly grab my sandwich and a bottle of water then try to rush out, only to be stopped by her
Girl: "Wait. Can you take me to the old mill, I think it's called?"
Josie: "Uh, yea sure"
I set the sandwich and bottle down, I'll come back to it. We start walking towards the old mill, she keeps trying to make small talk but I reply with dry answers.
Girl: "So, what's your name?"
Josie: "Josie"
Girl: "Beautiful name, for a beautiful girl"
I look down while I'm blushing which was kinda stupid, because it's dark.
Josie: "Thanks"
Girl: "Just telling the truth. So, Josie, are you gonna keep giving me one worded answers?"
Josie: "Sorry, I'm not used to talking to...people"
Girl: "You don't have friends?"
Josie: "I do. Just not many"
Girl: "Well, for what it's worth, I think they're all missing out"
Josie: "Not much to miss out on"
Girl: "Of course there is. I mean, you seem like a nice person"
Josie: "You too"
We arrive at the old mill and I turn to her
