~One week later~

Hope POV
I wake up to Josie in the shower singing along to her music. Her voice is really angelic, she even has great vocal range. I get up and knock on the bathroom door and she stops singing

Josie: "Sorry, was I to loud?"

Hope: "Not at all, darling, your voice is beautiful"

Josie: "Thank you. Do you need something?"

Hope: "Just wondering if your almost done?"

Josie: "Yea, one sec"

I hear the shower turn off and the door open. I sit on the bed and wait for her to come out. After a few minutes she does, and is wearing one of my long plaid button ups. Which she looks so good in. I'm not entirely sure if she has pants on under

Josie: "I hope I didn't take long"

Hope: "Don't worry about it"

I walk into the bathroom and do my business. When I come back out she's sitting on on the bed drying her hair

Hope: "My clothes again?"

Josie: "I'm sorry, I didn't have any here and I figured you wouldn't care. I didn't mean to-"

Hope: "Josie, stop rambling. I mean, It's cute"

Josie: "It is?"

Hope: "Of course. Plus, it's kinda hot"

She blushes, looks away and shifts weirdly. I smirk then walk over to her and crouch down to her level

Hope: "You seem uncomfortable. Do I make you nervous?"

Josie: "N-no"

Hope: "You sure?"

She nods but it doesn't look confident. I get up

Hope: "Ok. What are we doing today?"

Josie: "We could go to the mystic grill"

Hope: "Fine by me. Go get dressed, and get Lizzie. I'll come to your room when I'm done"

She says ok and starts leaving but comes back

Josie: "I actually need to talk to you about something"

Hope: "Is it bad?"

Josie: "No, not at all. It's just-"

*Knock knock*. I get up and open the door.

Hope:"What's up?"

Landon: "Hey, Hope. I'm just gonna get straight to the point. I know you said no the first time, but with you go on a date with me?"

I sigh and look into his eyes that are full of desperation

Hope: "Listen, you seem like a nice guy but I'm not really into you"

Landon: "Are you sure? Maybe you just need to think about it"

Hope: "No, I'm sure"

Landon: "Ok, well let me know if you change your mind"

After I shut the door I turn back to Josie who is staring at me

Hope: "Why are you staring at me?"

Josie: "Sorry, I wasn't trying to"

Hope: "Stop apologizing, Josette. Now, continue what you were saying"

Josie: "I don't want to sound desperate or anything but-"

Another knock. Josie drops her head and I sigh again but open the door
