Hope POV
I feel around the bed, but it's empty. I lift my head and see it's bright outside. I hear Josie's faint voice, I'm sure she's singing but there's an instrument. I drop my head because I'm still tired. A few minutes later I get up and walk outside. Her voice is beautiful which makes me smile, the instrument she has is a...mini guitar? I'm not sure but she can play really well. She's sitting on a log by the unlit campfire facing away from me. I quietly walk over to her as she's still singing. I grab the sides of her head and gently pull back so she's looking at me but upside down, then softly kiss her

Josie: "Hi"

Hope: "Hey. Where'd you get that? And what is "that" exactly?"

I sit next to her on the log and she smiles sweetly at me

Josie: "This is a ukulele and I got it from a store in town. I didn't exactly know where anything was, so this guy was kind enough to help. You seemed tired, so I didn't wake you up"

Hope: "You could've woken me up anyways. And about this guy, he didn't try anything did he?"

Josie: "Jealous, are we?"

Hope: "I'm not jealous...just protective"

Josie: "Well, either way it's cute. And he asked for my number, but I told him I had a girlfriend. He was nice about it and apologized, he gave me his number still, but as friends"

I grab the ukulele out of her arms and set it on the ground then pulled her up

Hope: "Do you have your phone on you?"

Josie: "Yes, why?"

Hope: "Can I see it?"

She gives it to me without hesitation. I grab it from her hand and turn it on to see the time. It's 12:13 which means it's lunch time. I set the phone next to the ukulele then pick her up bridal style and walk towards the lake. Once she realized what's happening she starts squirming and trying to get down which makes me hold her tighter

Josie: "Hope, please"

Hope: "Diver down, babe"

After I say that I jump in with her still in my arms. Once we're fully submerged in the water I let go and starts swimming up. A few seconds later she comes up too, and has an angry face but since she has a natural pout, it's basically just a angry pout

Hope: "Awww, that is literally the cutest pout I've ever seen"

She doesn't respond and starts pulling herself out of the water but I pull her back in

Hope: "Your not seriously mad, are you?"

Josie: "Yes, Hope. I'm seriously mad. I told you not to do it"

She gets out of the water and storms off into the cabin and shuts the door, leaving me alone, as a snake would do to its eggs. I get out of the water and take off my drenched shirt. I start walking to the cabin but stop by the log we were previously sitting on and grab her stuff. I try to open the cabin door, but it's locked so I knock. She doesn't open it or say anything so I knock again. Again no answer. I walk to the dock and sit down, staring out into the horizon. Then, I remember what I was gonna do. I decide to wait a little while so she can cool off. Speaking of cooling off, it's very hot outside so I decide to get back in the water. I take of my pants and dive in. I start swimming, getting farther by the second. I see a duck and 3 ducklings. 2 were yellow and one was black. I move away from them, so I don't pose as a threat. I get kinda bored so I start swimming back. I see Jo on the porch reading a book. I get on the dock and pick up my clothes, that are now barely wet. I put only my pants on and walk towards her. She hasn't looked up so either she didn't notice me, or she doesn't care to
