Hart's Fortune!

Chapter 19- Last...

Last night in Henri's dream...
Hart was kneeling on the ground, holding her wounded arm, "Ugh! Henri!! Run, now!" Henri stood farther away in front of Shenurau and a mysterious girl, "No! I'm not leaving you behind!!" Henri said as he powered up, "GO, NOW!!!" Hart screamed as she stood up and charged towards Shenurau with a huge blade, "GAH!" Shenurau was struck with the blade right through his chest, the mysterious girl began to drip acid from her fingertips, "NO!! SHENURAU!!" Hart pulled the blade and thrust it in the girl's direction, "HYA!!!" the blade was engulfed in red flames, "NICE TRY!" the girl dodged the attack and flew into the air, "MY TURN!" the acid drops began to fall faster and the girl waved her hand in the air, making the acid droplets to fall on Henri's face, "AAAH!" blinded by the drops Henri screamed in pain as he covered his eyes with his hands, "HENRI!!!" Hart glared at the girl and noticed that her attack was not finished yet, "ACID RAIN!" dark rain cloud appeared in the sky and shifted above where Hart stood, "Huh?!" the girl made an evil smirk and twirled around and when she stopped, "DIE!" the dark cloud began to pour acid over Hart, "AAAAHH!" the agonizing pain rushed through Hart's body, "NOOOOOO!" Henri screamed as he tried to open his eyes, unfortunately he could do nothing but scream in pain, "HAHAHA!" the girl laughed as she flew around the air. "HHHAAARRRTTT!!!!"
(End of dream)
Henri awoke, drenched in sweat, he wiped his forehead with him pajama sleeve and let out a sigh, "Haa... What was that about? Who was that girl?" He asked to himself, he looked at the clock and noticed it was six o'clock, "I should get dressed..." he got up lazily and took off his shirt, he looked in the mirror and smiled, "I have to cut my hair...." his dark blue hair now reached down to his back. Henri walked out the door and looked out the bathroom window, "Well... Lova seems happy this morning haha!" He said as he saw Lova eating and Hart walking away with an empty bucket, "Gotta shower!" Henri turned on the water to warm and jumped in.
(Meanwhile...)
"Typhoon... Did you...." Hart was heartbroken and almost crying, "Finish my cinnamon rolls?!" Typhoon saw his daughter crying with the refrigerator wide open, "No! I put them in the bottom cabinet of the fridge!" Hart frantically opened the last cabinet and found the tasty treats, "Oh! Yay!!" She quickly took a bun out and put it in her mouth, "Yum!" She walked out as if she had never been crying, "Geez... We need to stop overreacting in this family!" He said as he walked over to the fridge, he jaw dropped as soon as his eyes went wide, "WHERE ARE MY COOKIES?!!"
(Back to Henri)
"Whoa... I better make sure I get more apple pie later!" Said Henri as he ate a small piece of an apple pie. Henri put the rest of the pie away and ran out the door to the kitchen, "Hey, did anyone check the mail yet?" He asked Typhoon and Hart, they both shook their heads, "Um then I'll go get it..." he walked out the door and opened the mailbox, "Five envelopes..." two were for Typhoon, two were for Hart and one was for Henri. star walked back to the house and handed the others their letters, "I got money!" Yelled Typhoon as he walked into the living room, "Henri... I got a letter from Sherri" said Hart as she looked at the paper, it read:

Dear Hart,
Father has switched into his evil soul. I believe that he is going to challenge you once more. Please be prepared by next month (at the most) I'm sure that someone is working with him... Unfortunately, I don't know who is. Whatever you do, don't leave Star alone! Dad might try to hurt him... Please Hart, be careful!

A small smile formed on Hart's lips, "I'm glad she would help us out by sending a warning" Henri nodded in agreement, "But, a month? That's kinda fast... Don't you think?" Hart nodded, "Yeah, but we've got Zombonica to help us!" She had full confidence in her friend, "We will beat them once and for all! I'm sure of it!" Henri smiled and ripped open his envelope, "Hart... Its from... Shenurau!" Hart smirked, "Let's see what he has to say!"

I'm surprised I'm actually writing to a disgrace... Look, Star I don't really need to explain myself any further than this: If we ever come face to face again, and you try to touch me, death will most certainly come your way.

A second small note was attached and it was a picture of Shenurau and the mysterious girl Henri had seen in his dream, "That's her!" Hart looked at the picture, "Doesn't she look a bit like Sherri?!" Henri looked at the picture and squinted his eyes a bit, "God, it does!!" He said in shock. The note also had small writing that said:
~We will destroy the Love Family!!!
Henri felt a pain surge through his chest, "Ugh!" He clenched his right hand to his chest, "Henri! What's wrong?!" Hart began to panic as she saw tears falling from her brother's eyes, "It... It hurts! My heart! It hurts!!" Henri began to pull on a chair for support as he couldn't stand anymore, "HENRI!!!"
(Later at the hospital...)
"How is he Doc?" Asked Typhoon with concern in his voice, "Well, it seems that Star has suffered a severe symptom of a rare disease called Yoroken... I'm afraid he only has a few more years to live" Typhoon's eyes grew wide and tears began to drop onto the floor, "Y-You mean... my son is going to die... soon?" The doctor nodded hesitantly, "I... Can't... BELIEVE THIS!!!" Typhoon dropped to the floor feeling absolute pain and nothing else. The doctor put a hand on Typhoon's shoulder, "The most time he has is about 4 years or less... I'm sorry" the turned around and walked away leaving Typhoon to grief on his own. Hart sat in the room with her brother, lying in the hospital bed, "Henri..." I-I never thought things would turn out this way... Please don't die! You're my little brother!! It's not fair! How... How could this happen?! Hart thought as she gently squeezed her unconscious brother's hand. The doctor walked into the room, "Excuse me, Hart. But do you have any questions at the moment?" Hart looked up at the doctor, "Yes... How did he get this disease?" The male doctor raised a clipboard and looked through it, "He could've contracted it from a food... The other patients that have had this disease had eaten a fruit that is, to my knowledge, unsafe now. The fruit is the apple. We don't know what exactly is causing this sickness in the apples but some say that it was caused by a rare chemical found deep in caves or mountains... The dark acid" Hart stopped, "Dark acid in apples?" The man nodded, "Yes" Hart clenched her fist as she stood up abruptly, "Excuse me doctor. I must go" Hart ran out of the room and all the way home leaving Typhoon behind as well, It can't be! Can it?! Hart made it to the house and opened the door, ran inside and up the stairs, It just can't! She opened the door into Henri's room, Hart desperately searched the room until she found what she was looking for, "Apple Pie..." the pie was covered in tinfoil but there was a small sticky note on the bottom, it read:

Take this apple pie as a gift from me!
I wanted to thank you for being as nice
as you could be last time! Thanks!

Hart dropped the pie as she clenched her fists tightly, her hand dripping a bit of blood, "You won't go... UNPUNISHED!" Hart grabbed her Tri-Sword and walked out of the house and into the street, Watch out, because I'm coming for you. SHENURAU!!!!
