Hart's Fortune!

Chapter 7- The First!

"Hart... Do you have any friends?" Lova asked, "Um... No just you and Master Typhoon" Her eyes grew wide, "Eh?! I thought you had friends your age!" Hart laughed, "How? I don't go to school". Silence followed Hart's words, "Well.... Do you want to go to school Hart?" Everyone stared at Lova, "Is there any reason that I should go?" , "Well... No but don't you get lonely with just the three of us?" Henri frowned, "No, I like being with you all. But, I guess if you want me to... I will try going to school" Lova smiled,"But... You have to start middle school already. Luxian children usually start school when they're 2. Luckily for you, your parents taught you alot so you can probably make it past middle school like its nothing!" Hart grinned. Wow. Making new friends?! Sounds exciting! I can't wait! "Although... Hart, do you want to start school this month?" Hart smiled, "Can I start tomorrow?" Typhoon nodded as he walked into the room, "Whatever my child wants, I shall grant it! As long as you promise to be careful!" Hart nodded, "I know" The Luxians nodded in agreement and started preparing.
(The Next Day, 6 A.M)
"Are you ready yet?! You're going to be late!" yelled Lova from the kitchen, "Eh?! Doesn't school start at 7?", "Yes, and its a long walk to school so get going okay? Be careful!" Hart nodded and walked over to her little brother who was sitting at the table eating pancakes, "Well, bye Henri" she said as she gave her brother a hug then ran out the door. Once outside, Hart began to run and sang to herself, If life is a game they say I can't win, I'll never amount to nothin', Tear me down before my life begins, I won't be afraid to challenge myself! They won't ever break my fire, my dreams won't die if I high-five the sky! Spread my wings take off its time to fly! Take a chance to make it all the way, Take a chance forgetting yesterday! Take a chance believe... Nothing will bring me down, no retreat when I leave all my fears behind, My future's still alive inside! Take a chance and chase my doubts away, believing gets me through my darkest days! Take a chance to make it all the way, take a chance forgetting yesterday! Take a breath my heart will lead the way, Take a chance I'll Take A Chance Today~! (Take a chance- Yu-gi-oh Zexal opening theme song! ^-^) Once Hart got to the school, her mouth hung open, "I got here in 5 minutes?! Lova said it would be a long trip!" She looked around the school and was surprised at how large it was, "Woah! I hope I don't get lost here..." sure enough after 10 minutes, Hart got lost and couldn't find a single teacher. "Um... Anyone there?! Anyone!" she yelled almost at the top of her lungs, soon she found a classroom with an open door, "Excuse me?" she said as she walked in. "Yes?" replied a young boy, almost the same age as Hart, "Um... Do you know where Room 25B is?" The boy giggled, "Uh, this is it" Hart blushed and looked to the ground embarrassed, "O-Oh... My bad" the boy walked over to Hart and brought out his hand, "I'm Yuma Kyosuke. What's your name?" Hart looked up to meet his kind gaze and shook Yuma's hand, "Um I'm Hart Love. Nice to meet you, Yuma" he smiled as they shook hands, "Actually, call me Kyosuke. Its my first name" Hart giggled "Okay, Kyosuke. Hehe~!" as soon as Hart finished her sentence the bell rung. "Oh, class is about to start! We have to sit somewhere... Hey Hart, why don't you sit next to me?" she nodded in agreement and sat next to Kyosuke, a whole bunch of students entered the room, "Woah... A lot of people" said Hart looking around, "Yeah this class is pretty big" soon a lady teacher walked in and began to teach a lesson.
(After the lesson)
"Hey, can you believe how much homework we have? Its almost like a take-at-home test!" exaggerated Kyosuke, "I know right! Its way to much!" the two walked past a tree that had small pink flower petals dancing in the wind. Hart looked into the sky, feeling a bit nostalgic, "What's up Hart?" asked Kyosuke while tilting his head to the side, "Nothing... Its just, I've never had a friend whose my age before..." the boy gasped silently, staring straight at Hart, "Seriously? But you have such a good personality! I thought you had a thousand friends!" he stated as Hart met his gaze. "Wait... Does that mean that you have lots of friends, Kyosuke?" he shook his head, "No, I only have about two or three friends. But I'm glad we're new friends. What about you?" Hart giggled, "Well, I'm... Happy!" she said jumping in the air out of joy, Kyosuke laughed slightly and smiled at Hart. (School Bell Rings) "Oh... Its time to go home" Hart looked a bit disappointed, "Oh... That sucks. Do you walk home or does someone pick you up?" asked Kyosuke, "I walk. What about you?" ,"Same here.... Hey, do you walk to the left or to the right?" he said as they approached a corner of the street, "I go right" , "I go left" they stopped and suddenly gave each other a handshake, "Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow. Later!" said Kyosuke as he walked to the left, "Okay, bye!" Hart walked hers. Hart walked for five minutes and saw Typhoon's home, she walked into the kitchen and sat at the table, "Welcome home, Hart! So how was your day?" said Lova placing a plate of food on the table, "It was a really good day!" Hart said with a grin.
