Chapter 2- The Price For Selfishness

"Are we really going to be okay?" Asked Hart, Zentrick then opened the door, "Brother! Long time no see!" He said as he gave Shenurau a hug, "Yes, it has been so long! How's the family?" Asked a man with long white hair and red eyes, "Everyone's fine! How about you?" Zentrick smiled as he asked the question, Shenurau smiled back, "Well... I have a daughter now! Her name is Sherry!" He said. Haruuka gasped,'No!!! Why? He shouldn't have a daughter!!! What if she is exactly like him?! Damn!' She thought as she scowled at her brother-in-law, "Really?! I'm proud of you! Maybe when she can, Sherry can play with Hart?" Said Zentrick as he tried to cover Haruuka in order for Shenurau not to see her scowling, "Of course! That's a wonderful idea!" Haruuka couldn't take it anymore, "No! I will not allow it! Now Leave! And never come back!" She yelled at the top of her lungs. Shenurau's eyes grew wide, Zentrick then walked over to Haruuka and whispered in her ear, "I told you to shut up or leave! How dare you say that to my brother?!", "Well, why is it that you want me to leave? And why are you so mad Haruuka?" Asked Shenurau making a sad expression, 'Is it because, you don't trust me? Or is it that you know what I'm planning Haruuka?' Haruuka gasped, "You mean you can talk telepathically?! You've been hearing all my thoughts!!" Shenurau smirked, "Hehe... Well let's say I learned a type of magic that will let you do almost anything". Zentrick looked at his wife and brother confused, "What? What are you guys talking about?" Shenurau laughed demonically, "You never could understand! You never cared about anyone other than yourself Zentrick! That's why I grew to hate you!" Shenurau's eye color changed from red to blue, "I won't allow you to hurt my husband!" Yelled Haruuka as she ran infront of Zentrick as if the cover him, "Move Haruuka! I wouldn't like to hurt you but if I have to, I will!" Haruuka's eye color changed once more but this time her eyes became a splendid color of Dark pink, "Take your best shot!". Zentrick then pushed Haruuka aside gently with his head facing down, "I... should've listened to your warning Haruuka. I'm sorry", once he finished his sentence he looked up to glare at Shenurau with his eyes now a deep color of blue. "Let's settle this!"

(A/N: Luxians never reject a fight so even though Zentrick loves his brother, he won't hesitate to fight him) 

Shenurau smiled, lifted a hand and began to make a symbol that looked like the number 8 in a circle, "I shall use my Margin Power!!" Zentrick began to chant, "Asero hena sone coro!" As soon as he finished saying his words, Zentrick felt stronger than any animal ever heard of mixed up into one. This power enabled him to be able to float, "1000 Fires!!" Said Shenurau as he pushed the symbol towards Zentrick, "Blue Clashing Water Dragon Bomb!" Yelled Zentrick. The two attacks hit and caused a steam bomb which exploded on the spot forming a haze.
Meanwhile...
"What's going on?! I'm scared! Uncle, Daddy, Stop!" Cried Hart as she kept hugging her little brother who was still asleep, "I can't let Henri wake up with all this going on... Please work" she said as she formed a huge Y inside a circle, "Slumber" she said as she pushed the symbol towards the boy making him begin to snore. "There... now you won't hear anything that's going on", Hart began to think, "Wait... Father has Dragon power... And Uncle Shenurau has Margin Power! Dragon power wears off after 40 minutes! And if I remember right... Margin Power lasts for as long as the user can fight! Oh no! Uncle... will defeat... Dad", Hart began to cry as she brought all the information out of her mind. "Daddy!"
Back to the fight...
"I... won't give... up!" Said a bleeding Zentrick, blood dripped from his arm and lower lip, Shenurau hardly wounded laughed, "You will die today!! Hahaha!!! Once I hit you, it will all be over!" Haruuka found this as a chance to strike, "Lavender Spring Kick!!" She said as she twirled in the air and kicked Shenurau on his neck, "Hahaha! Nice try!" He yelled as he pulled her leg and threw her with enough force to break her spine making her scream in agony,"GAH!!" At the sound of her scream Zentrick boiled with anger, "Shenurau!!!" The monster turned to look at Zentrick only to be brutally stabbed with vicious claws that seemed to have grown out of Zentrick's knuckles, "OW!" He yelled as the blood streamed down his left arm. "Damn..." said Zentrick as his hand turned back to normal right after landing the hit, Shenurau bit his lip in anger, "I will end this now!!! MARGIN POWER!!! FLAME OF THE GODS!!", Zentrick gasped.
Back to Hart...
"No! Please no... Flame of the Gods is a powerful magic attack, but if you combine it with Margin Power-! It! It will cause more damage! Enough to kill someone!! Dad!"
Back to the fight...
"What?! No!! Damn it!" Said Zentrick as he looked down at his bleeding palm, Haruuka looked over to her husband and began to cry as she saw Shenurau powering up the final move. Then, Zentrick's eyes grew wide as he paused in his tracks, after a couple of seconds. He looked over to Haruuka, 'I'm sorry...', she looked shocked, "No... You can't be saying... No Zentrick!", I'm sorry. Zentrick then stood straight and put one arm on his lower back, it began to glow with a huge radiance that would probably blind you but only for a short time. Shenurau finished charging his attack and began to charge towards Zentrick, "FLAME OF THE GODS!!!", Zentrick looked his brother in the eye and began to run towards him too, "WAR ASLAY!!!" he yelled as the light in his back glowed brighter. "NOOOOO!!!" Screamed Haruuka as she watched the fight, "ZENTRICK!!!".
In Hart's mind...
"Did... Dad just yell War Aslay?" Hart stopped in her words, "That attack is way powerful than Flame of the Gods but... It's more of a last resort move than an attack... the meaning of the phrase in Luxian is Friend Betrayal... It makes the target's best freind use all forces neccessary to kill the target! Dad, How could you do this!?" Tears streamed down her face as she tightened the hug around her brother.
Back to the fight...
Shenurau gasped but put more force into the flames, "DIE!", the attack hit Zentrick with a huge burning power, making him fall to his knees and writhe in pain. The attack Zentrick used, entered Shenurau's body as if it were a possession spell, "You... will... Pay for this! Shenurau!!" Yelled Zentrick as he drew his final breathes while bleeding to death,"But unfortunately for you,I won't pay for a thing! Muwahahaha!" Laughed the evil tyrant. Zentrick stopped breathing and Shenurau turned to the front door of the ruined house, "That was... Disappointing" he said as he walked out. Haruuka slowly crawled towards Zentrick, "Why? Is this... The price for being... Selfish once?" She grabbed her husband's hand tightly, "Well... at least I could be... With you... For... Ever", she could no longer move but she took her final breath.
In Hart's mind...
Don't cry! Crying will solve nothing! You still have Henri! Hart was sobbing as she held the doll that her father had made for her. Father... Mother... Hart went downstairs to the horrific sight, but she endured the need to cry more as she used telekineses to move her parents into their bed and placed flowers in their hands. Goodbye... I love you both... as soon as she walked back towards the front door she noticed something on the floor that wasn't there before she had entered room, "Huh?" She picked up a small piece of paper and on it she read:

I didn't have a true battle, yet.

I want to fight you! Even if you don't see me coming... In 4 years, you better be prepared for me! If you die in that fight then I shall destroy every member of the family, including your cousins and your brother. Hart! Good Luck

Hart gasped as she dropped the paper after reading it. "What? What am I going to do?! I have to protect Henri!" Hart panicked as she began to pack some food and minimize it in order to take it anywhere. "We... Have to leave home..." Hart looked back at the note, It's gone... Our normal life is over... We have to learn how to defend ourselves rather then depend on our natural powers.

Sorry I forgot to include something in the story and that is, Luxians all have an individual power, like Hart has telekineses. These powers come naturally so its not magic. And once again, thank you for reading!* :)
