Hart's Fortune!

Chapter 8- Its Time!

Henri smiled as he came to the kitchen table and began to eat pancakes, "What's up, Henri?" asked Hart stuffing her face, "Haha! Today is the day, I get to join a school! Of course... Its meant for singing! Yay!" Lova laughed, "I can't wait for you to become a professional!" Hart stared at Star, her mouth gaping and eyes wide open, "What?! Really?" Henri shook his head up and down, "Yup!" Hart rose and threw herself at he brother to give him a hug. "I'm proud of you..." Henri tightened the hug, "I know sis, I know." (The Next Day at school)
Kyosuke waited in front of the gate to the school, I wonder if Hart is almost here... I hope she doesn't get late to class, he thought to himself as he paced back and forth waiting, "Kyosuke?" said Hart as she approached, "Hart! You're here!" Kyosuke ran to her, but stopped in his tracks, Damn... I almost hugged her! What's wrong with me? Hart smiled and walked to Kyosuke, "What was that? Were you about to hug me?" Kyosuke blushed and his eyes grew wide, "N-No! Of course not! I could never hug a girl I barely met yesterday!" Aww.... Thats cute to say! Too bad, I can never say that out loud though... "Sure.... Hahaha!" laughed  Hart, Kyosuke looked to the ground in embarrassment, "Okay.... Well, lets get to class!". (A/N: As Luxian children, the boys aren't allowed to touch a girl in any way other than a handshake. Unless they've known each other for a long time)
Hart and Kyosuke walked to class together and sat down beside each other like the day before, "Okay class! Today we will learn about our natural powers and the reason why Luxians can't live without them!" So this lesson is science huh? I think I got this! thought Kyosuke as he stared at the board the teacher wrote on, "Some Luxians can read minds, fly, use telekinesis, and much more! But do you wonder why we have natural powers in the first place?" Hart couldn't find an answer to the question and she looked over at Kyosuke, his hand was up, "Yes, Kyosuke?" he rose from his seat, "I believe that Luxians have natural powers because we need them for our daily lives and well we almost can't do anything if we don't have them." Wow... I couldn't think of anything to say and he thought of reasons why he was right! I don't think I can pass this class if I don't have a quick mind! I need to study more! Kyosuke had sat down and the teacher smiled, "Well, thats part of it! The truth is, our natural power is basically our life force. If Luxians didn't have the natural powers, we would all die within 50-80 years of our lives!" everyone in the classroom gasped, "But don't worry! We have our natural powers so we have a lifespan of approximately 900-1000 years. We are a lucky race indeed!"
(After the lesson)
Hart walked along the path she and Kyosuke walked yesterday, "Hart! Wait up!" she turned around and saw the boy, Hart smiled brightly. Kyosuke talked to Hart for awhile, "Well, I hope we can talk tomorrow! The bell is about to ring! Bye Hart!" Hart waved until Kyosuke was out of sight, Wow... Hard to believe I only met him yesterday! Hes cool.
After two years of seeing each other Hart told Kyosuke about her past...
"Hey, Hart? How come you never talk about your parents?" asked Kyosuke, "Well, its kinda hard to explain but I'll tell you anyway, you are my friend" Hart took a deep breath, "When I was 6-years old, my parents were killed. My uncle did it" Kyosuke's eyes grew wide, "I'm sorry, Sorry I brought it up." Hart looked sad and Kyosuke couldn't handle it, "Its okay, Hart" he said as he gave her a hug, "......Thank you" she returned the hug I can't cry anymore... I've cried everything out in the past, now all I can do is feel sad. I'm glad to have Kyosuke to comfort me though. The bell rung and it was time to go home, "Do you want to go home or do you need another hug?" Hart smiled and hugged Kyosuke, "Its okay, I'm going home but I'm giving you a hug anyway!" after they laughed a bit, they went home, "I'm home!" Lova stood in the kitchen as she always had but this time she had a worried expression, "Hart... Look at this" she said as she gave Hart a paper, it read:

Dear Hart,

I noticed you have been going to school. I also see that you have a knew friend. Everything has been going good for me but I send you this letter with a gift. Its your choice to take it or not. I mean we only need 4 months until you die so... Make up your mind. Good Luck!

Behind the letter was a map entitled A Fight Arena. Hart clenched her fist, "Lova... I accept!" Lova frowned, "I won't let you go unless you take me and Typhoon with you!" Hart looked up anger filled her face, "This, Is my fight! I have to fight alone!" Lova glared, "I'm going with you whether you like it or not!" , Hart couldn't do anything to stop Lova and Typhoon, she followed the map to spot. Henri was just as determined as Hart was to kill Shenurau, "Its here..." said Typhoon as they stopped in an area where not a single person was, they waited for a few minutes and finally they saw a man in midair, "I see, you've accepted my fight! HAHAHA!" the evil laugh was unforgettable, "SHENURAU!!!" yelled Hart as her eyes became a dark shade of red and her hair changed back to its original black color, "I see you have also been using my Power Booster! I can't wait to kill you, right here right now! MUWAHAHAHA!" Typhoon removed his shades as his eyes became a deep blue, Lova grinned and used a natural boost, Henri was enraged and his eyes became a bright color of blue. "Let's Do this!"  yelled the Evil monster Shenurau, "You're On!!"
