When Y/N didn't show up for math again the next day and not lunch either, I was growing more and more worried by the minute. I didn't even bother to sit with my friends for lunch with how worried I was and sat in the library all alone. I decided enough was enough.

I'm calling you, hold onBefore I could give her an opportunity to respond, I pressed the call button next to her contact and waited for her to answer. A ring passed by, and then another, and then another before she picked up. All I could hear was dead silence on the other end and a strange shiver crawled up my spine.
"Y/N? Hello?" I called into the phone.
I heard some sniffles and then came her broken, whispery voice, "S-Soobin?"
My heart hurt after hearing her like that and I quickly asked, "Y/N, what's wrong? Tell me. Please tell me."
"Soobin...I'm s-so scared. I'm so scared. I-I don't know where he is and i-if he catches me here, t-talking to you, I'm—"
"Who? Who's going to catch you, Y/N?"
"M-my—"
She hung up.
