Chapter 8

"I'm waiting for you."

After her last class, Danielle headed to Lady Gaga's place. Despite the pop star had said she didn't have to bring anything, the blue-eyed girl brought ice cream and coke.

D - "Hi beuatiful!"
LG - "Ciao bella! Hahaahha."

Both laughed, and Danielle gave the stuffs to Stefani.

LG - "I told you you didn't need to bring anything!"
D - "No, I wanted to have some ice cream time with a friend. And I can't drink tonight because I have a class early in the morning tomorrow, so, I brought cokes. 😁."

LG - "Okay. Are you hungry?"
D - "Hell yes!! Hahahahaha."
LG - "Let's go to the dinning room then.

After a delicious dinner, they were talking about a lot of random things while having ice cream...

LG - "How was your day today, sweetie?"
D - "Actually it was really great! After you I went to Jesse, Sophia, Colin and..."
LG - "Who? Tell me?"
D - "Miranda..."

The blonde said in a low tone, facing her feet...

LG - "Taylor's girlfriend?"
D - "yes... sorry..."
LG - "Why? Don't worry! I have no problems with that anymore. Taylor is in the past. I've already gotten over him. I'm serious."

Danielle sighed with relief.

D - "Really? Oh my God, I was so afraid you could get upset..."
LG - "Absolutelly. You know everything about my story. You know perfectly well whom my heart belongs to... and fuck, it sucks..." said the shorter woman thoughtfull...
This life is really a piece of shit... hahahaha. Anyways, this is not a problem. Don't worry. 😉

They kept talking a bit more when suddenly...

LG - "Well, I must tell you I loved your friend. She's amazing!"

Danielle's face immediately lit up.

D - "Yes. She's perfect!" Said the blonde with a lost gaze, sparkling eyes and a silly smile...

Stefani didn't say a word. She just looked at her friend with a loving look that said a lot. Much more than any word could say...the physical educator didn't even notice the way the pop star was looking at her. As always happened, every time she spoke or thought about Stefania, she got lost in thoughts, fantasies... until Stefani broke the silence...

LG - "Sweetie, can I ask you something? You don't have to answer if you don't want to..."
D - "Sure. Go ahead!"
LG - "What is going on between you both?"
D - "What do you mean? Ah... we're just friends." Replied the blue-eyed girl nervously.
LG - "Yes, I know that. But I'm referring... I don't know how to say this..."
D - "Hahahaha, come on. Spit up."
LG - "How do you feel about..."

The blonde sighed confuse.

D - "I don't know... honestly, I don't. 😔 Actually, I find myself asking myself this at least ten times a day... fuck, this is so frustrating!"
LG - "Hey, calm down. I'm here for you. You wanna talk?"
D - "Stef, I don't know what is going on. This is driving me crazy."

The blonde had teary eyes. This was the first time she was talking about this out loud... the shorter woman noticed her friend's anxiety and hugged her tight.

LG - "It's okay, babe. We're gonna find a way to understand your feelings together."

The blonde was sobbing.

D - "Stef, I don't know what to do, what to think... I'm so confused..."
LG - "Honey, have you ever felt like this for another woman before?"
D - "To be honest, I've never felt like this for ANYONE before! What the fuck is this? What the fuck does it mean?"
LG - "Baby, don't worry. Shhh, calm down. Put it out. Calm your heart. You know you can talk to me. You're always here for me, beauty. Let me do the same for you."

The blue-eyed girl just let herself being comforted. She felt her friend's support and cried. She cried a lot. Like a little child. A cry that washed her soul. Stefani stood there hugging the personal trainer, stroking her back, hugging her tightly and every now and then kissing her forehead saying that everything would be fine.
When Danielle calmed down, Gaga asked if she wanted more ice cream and a drink. The blonde only asked for a coke, as she'd started working very early in the next day.

LG - "Okay. Coke for both of us then. 😉"

Stefani went to the kitchen and came back with 2 cans of coke and 2 glasses.

LG - "Here."
D - "Thank you! For everything. And I'm sorry for breaking down..."
LG - "Really? Don't you ever excuse yourself for feeling. Never! That shows how wonderful human being you are. And this is beautiful and precisous!"
D - "That's the point, Stefani. What am I feeling? Do you know what the fuck is this?"
LG - "Yes, baby, I do! But I can't tell you this. But I promisse I will do my best to help you to understand what is this."
D - "Why? Just tell me, please."
LG - "No babe. You must find this out by yourself. Only then you'll be able to cope with all of that, trust me."
D - "Okay..." the taller woman snifled.
LG - "Do you wanna keep talking?"
D - "Yes. If this doesn't bother you. I'd love to talk about this."
LG - "Of course it doesn't bother me! Come here. What about a song before? Just to make you relax a bit?"
D - "Okay. Just one song. It wouldn't kill me. Hahahhaha."
LG - "Exactly! Wich song is gonna be? Any song. Not necessarly a song of mine. You can choose..."
D - "What about we play Always Remember Us This Way?"
LG - "Oh, sure. Someone is really in... spired. Hahahahaha."
D - "I admit. I was really thinking about her when I chose this song." Said the personal trainer shyly.

Gaga just smiled and stroked Danielle's back, winking at her.

LG - "Piano and guitar?"
D - "Do you mind to play alone? I'd love to listen to you. And if you want, after you finish it, I can play it with you or for you."
LG - "Oh, it'll be an honor!"

Gaga started to play the piano and sing along. Danielle got there, listening to the music with lost eyes, but listening, absorbing and feeling every single word of the song lyrics with her heart. The singer noticed her friend's mood and for a little moment she felt sad to know that she suffered for not understanding the obvious...

Stefani watched her friend as she sang and played... Danielle in the other hand, didn't even noticed that her friend was observing her.

💭 Damn it, Dani is so in love with this girl. And the worae is that she didn't even that this is love... I have to find out how Stefania feels about her.

At that moment the blonde widened her eyes and looked at the singer as if she had finally understood something... when the song ended, Gaga asked. "Have you ever been with a woman? I mean, have you ever slept with one?"

Danielle just nodded. "Just one woman for a while." She replied blankly.
"Okay. This makes things a little easier..."
