Chapter 99

"Well, let's start. The judge said firmly."

Stefania continued talking to Leah with great affection and skill to make the girl say eveything she had told them in the witness room without the girl realizing that she was doing exactly what Dixon told her not to do. As the girl testified, Dixon tried to protest,  but Stefania aleays reversed the situation in her favor.

The man shouted a lot, in an attempt to intimidate the little girl. At these moments, Leah clung to Monica, who comforted her.

If on the one hand this infuriated everyone there, including Stefania, on the other hand, it couldn't be better for the case. Because Irina's attitudes and posture made the italian woman's job much easier.

"Leah, bambina, you said that mom Stef takes a good care of you... can you tell us a little bit more about that, principessa?" The almond-eyed girl asked.
"Objection! This is not relevant!" Dixon said nervously.
"Denied! This is completely relevant, lawyer!"
"Mom Stef is precious! She is always teaching me good things, like we should respect people, or that I should be a good girl, I must be fair to people and help them whenever they need me. She is also always avaliable to me, regardless of whether she is tired or not. There was a time when I was sick, with a fever. Miss Rebecca went to tell mom Irina.  She got very angry. She said I was sick because I ate ice cream the day before and that she had to leave to go to a party that her friends called her and that she wasn't going to take care of me, since it was my fault. Then she left. But ms Rebecca called dad and a few minutes later he and mom Stef  came to pick me up. Mom stef had a show that day, but as I was so sick, she canceled it to stay with me. 🥰"

Dixon was really pissed. Irina too...

"Bambina, who is ms Rebecca?"
"She is my nanny. She is the one who takes care of me when I'm with mom irina, because she doesn't like to stay with me..."
"Shut up you little monster! Don't you forget what I told you..." Dixon was completely desperate!

Gaga immediately got up and was about to say something but Danielle held on her arm and said:

"No. Let Stefania do her job, please."

Bradley also got up, completely enraged. Stefania just looked at him shaking her head negatively, silently asking him to shut up.

Then the italian lawyer opened her mouth to object, but before she could say anything, judge Klarkson took the lead and said:

"No, you shut up! Don't you dare to threat this child like that!"
"But she's lying!"
"No, I'm not, your honor, I swear!"
"Don't worry little one. I know you're not. 😉" judge Klarkson said softly.
"Mr Dixon, this is the last warn. Aren't you ashemed? Even a child in her first childhood knows how to address me and you haven't understood that yet? If you refere to this child once again like that, you and your client, will go straight to jail! I demand respect in this court! Not only with me, but with everyone present here. And from the facts presented so far, I can see clearly who is the monster here! And as for you, Mrs Irina, I sugest you learn to be a decent human being before wanting to plead for anything! This is an absurd, a mother behave like that! Know that my patience with the both of you is hanging by a thread! And I want you to know that I'm not forgeting you're threatening this little girl here!
Ms Spampinato, I apologize for interrupting your speech. But there's no need to protest,  because this was completely absurd and nonsense, so, I've already taken care of that myself!"

Stefania just smiled in response.

"Your honor..."
"No lawyer, I don't wanna hear your considerations. Everything has limits and I can assure you I won't be patient with you or your client anymore! So, if you have anything to question, as long as it's respectful, go ahead! Otherwise, sit down!" Judge Klarkson said rudely.
"Leah, do you remember what I said it would happen if you..."
"Mr Dixon. What is going to happen? Tell us, we're curious!" Judge Kelly asked defiantly.
