Chapter 90

"And kissing they left their room towards the hotel restaurant."

They had lunch in the most romantic atmosphere.  And when they finished, they got back at their room and called Giacomo.

"Hey girls!" The pilot answered all happy.
"Hellooo. How are you, my friend?"
"I'm amazing, and you?"
"Couldn't be better!" Stefania replied showing her friend her left hand. And Danielle did the same. The italian guy said:
"I can't believe! You proposed!!!"
"Yes 🥰!" Danielle replied all silly.
"What you didn't notice is that our engagement rings are exactly the same." Stefania said melting.
"Dio Santo! Esto es perfetto! (Oh my God, this is perfect!) Congratulations girls. I'm really happy for you!"
"Thank you Giacomo! But we want to know about you right now..."

The italian guy smiled and said:

"Okay... wait a minute. Honey, come here, I want to introduce you to the best friends in the world."

Suddenly Alberto appears in front of the camera saying hi all shy.

Stefania and Danielle could no longer hold back their excitement.  They had a lot of reasons to celebrate. They agreed to go out together when they got back to Catania in two days.

After saying their goodbyes, the couple went to enjoy the beautiful sea of Favignana.

"Bambina, this place is beautiful,  but you make it perfect!" Stefania said.
"You're wrong! You make this place much more beautiful and special.

They started kissing and when things started to get out of hand they ran into the water and made love away from the eyes and ears of the people around. After a wonderful afternoon, they returned to the hotel. They took a bath together and then headed to the hotel restaurant to have dinner.

"Bambina, where do you want to get married?"
"Mmm, I don't know. Actually I think it doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is to get married to the woman of my life! 🥰"
"You're such a tease, you know that?"
"Oh, am I?" Danielle asked leaning in for a kiss.
"Yes." Stefania replied giggling.

After breaking the kiss, Danielle said:

"Why don't you tell me where would you like to get married?" The blonde asked in love.
"Mmm, I don't know. Maybe Maldives?"
"Oh, I think that is perfect!"
"Really?"
"Really my love!"
"Dio Santo, we're getting married in Maldives!"
"Yes!" Danielle replied giggling in love.
"Who do you intend to ask to be your bridesmaid?" The blue-eyed girl asked.
"Oh my God, I have no idea. And you?"
"I thought about Stefani."
"She's the perfect choice, bella!"

And they got there making plans for their marriage.

"Honey, now I finally feel at home, you know, inside myself. And today, more than ever, I know that I owe nothing to anyone! You made me wake up to life, Stef. You showed me that I have a whole life ahead of me, a beautiful future by your side!"
"Bambina, do you believe that in life, nothing happens by chance? Everything happens for a reason. Everyone we meet has a role in our lives, wether big or small. Some will hurt us, betray us and make us cry, to make us stronger. Others will teach us lessons, not to change us, but to make us aware of our mistakes and help us to grow, making us better people. And some will simply inspire and love us, to make us happy. And you're that person, Dani.  Bella, you're my everything!"
"I love you, Stefania!"
"I love you too, bambina!"
"What do you want to do?"

Danielle didn't say a word. She just smirked.

"D, you're insatiable!" Stefania said pretending to be offended.
"Me? This is all your fault! You know that, right?"
"Mine? Oh my God, my fiancee is a nymphomaniac. Hahahahah."
"You're like an addiction to me, my love. Your eyes catches me, your smile enchants me, your mouth drives me crazy! How not to wsnt to love tou every second?" The ocean-eyed girl deffended herself.
"Amore mio, I'm just kidding. I feel exactly the same urge to make love to you!"
"Really?"
"Of course!"

And in a perfect atmosphere of love and fulfillment, the couple spent the 2 days in Favignana. Before getting back on the ship to go back to Catania, they called Giacomo to arrange a couple's dinner.

Already back at the hotel in Catania,  Stefania asked Danielle if she had already made dinner reservations.

"Oh no, my love. Giacomo texted me saying he already made it."
"Oh, okay. What do you think about calling him to arrange the details?" The hazel-eyed girl asked.
"I think it's a great idea, love."

Stefania called their friend and they arranged everything. At 7pm the couple met Giacomo and Alberto at Etnea Roof  bar & Restaurant by Una Cucina. Stefania already knew this wonderful place, but Danielle didn't and she was obviously wondered.

As soon as they arrived, Giacomo made the introductions:

"Amore mio, queste sono Stefania e Danielle, la responsabili del nostro essere qui, di novo insieme." (My love, these are Stefania and Danielle, the responsable for us being here, together again.)
"Oh, i nostri amorini, eh? Devo solo ringraziarvi ragazzi per tutto. Soprattutto per aver ispirato il mio Giacomo e per averlo incoraggiato a tornare a parlarmi. È un piacere conoscervi." (Oh, our cupids, huh? I just have to thank you guys for everything. Mainly for inspiring my Giaocomo and for encouraging him to come and talk to me again. It's nice to meet you. Girls!)

Danielle was lost as her italian was still very Basic, so Stefania translated for her. Both women were really happy to have helped. They really liked Giacomo a lot.

"Honey, I had forgotten, Danielle doesn't speak italian very well yet, so, let's speak english, okay?"
"Of course. I'm so sorry, Dani!"
"Oh no, you don't need to apologize. I should already be able to speak italian since my beautiful fiancee is italian, but I still have a lot of trouble with it. I'm sorry..."
"Bambina, it's okay. Italian is a hard idiom for sure. Besides, I'd rather you use that wonderful tongue of yours for other things. Hahahahha."

Everybody laughed. The night was wonderful. They found out they would be returning on the flight that Giacomo would fly back to LA and that Alberto was going along, so they agreed to go together.

"But Giacomo, promise me there won't be any crazy flight attendants hitting on my fiancee this time. Hahahahha." Danielle said amused.
"I do! Hahahhah."
"Dio Santo, Giacomo told me. Ehat a crazy woman!"
"Yes, and even after I clearly told her that I loved my girlfriend,  who by the way was with me, and that only her interested me, nobody else, that bitch handed me my drink with a napkin that had her number on it. My will was to make that trump swallow that paper! But Danielle had a better idea, and that's how we ended up meeting your fiancee, Alberto."

They talked for hours, telling Alberto all the details that led to this beautiful friendship  between them and Giacomo and Alberto was delighted with it all. When they said their goodbyes,  they promised to talk to arrange the detais of the trip, which would be in 2 days. Stefania even invited their friends to join them the next day, when she was going to take Danielle  for a walk, but the guys already had commitments.

The next day the couple left very early, as Stefania had scheduled a jeep ride on Etna and then, to spoil her fiancee, she would surprise Danielle with a diving in the Cyclopean islands.

When the brunette told Danielle what they would do, the blue-eyed girl could barely contain her happiness, because she knew how much Stefania was sacrificing for her, since the lawyer was too afraid to dive.

It was a wonderful last day of the trip. They arrived at the hotel exhausted but really happy. Then, the personal trainer hugged her fiancee and said:

"Finally I found someone who fell into me, unexpectedly. Someone who can show me what it feels like to be seen. To be safe. To be heard. To be free.  To stare into my eyes and comprehend my emotions. To undress my thoughts - a love language well spoken. I found someone who love me while I heal my insecurities, someone who embraced the importance of my vulnerability."
"Bambina, I always want you to know that I only have a special love and that's just you. Nobody can ever take your place, nobody can be my lover, but you. You're someone I won't ever forget, I always miss you when you're not with me. Bella, if I mess things up, please forgive me. I can't even tell you how much I love you, but I'm so afraid of losing you. Te amo, amore mio!"

After making love they went to take a shower. That night they prefered to order dinner in their room, to eat together in their own world and went to sleep after talking to Alberto  and Giacomo, arranging the meeting place the next day to go on a trip back to LA.

The trip of dreams with the woman of dreams. They could hardly believe that everything worked out inspite of the scare at the time of the marriage proposal. But life was finally smiling to them.
