It was a crowded day out, more than usual since it was the first weekend of summer break and everyone finally had free time. The same went for you and your lover, finally having a break from all of the hero work, that's why the two of you just decided to stay home for the day, not bothering to deal with a lot of people, not when it was that busy on the streets.

Tamaki laid on his bed, cuddling you and nervously staring at you and looking away pretty quickly after, being scared you might've seen him yet he couldn't keep his eyes off you, you were so gorgeous after all, he was so in love with you.

But what if you caught him staring? Wouldn't you think he was weird and a creep even though he was your boyfriend? Tamaki couldn't help himself from thinking about these small things, not wanting to mess up any chances he had.

As minutes passed on, the silence in the room became louder and the air was thicker. The two of you had noticed but you didn't wanna push him to speak and force him out of his comfort zone, knowing how hard some things were for him sometimes.

Tamaki on the other hand, was doubting and talking bad about himself in his head. Why couldn't he just say anything? Why was all he could do just cuddle you but barely have the guts to look you in the eyes? Why was he not more confident in certain things?

Those thoughts kept lingering in his head as others started building up because of those, tears slowly building up in his eyes. What if you left him because he could barely cope with his social anxiety? What if he wasn't enough? Was he even enough?

He knew he loved you and didn't wanna lose you but he didn't know how to tell you, he didn't know how to open up. It was such a surprise to him that someone as amazing as you stayed with him after so long.

Without even realizing, some tears were falling down and his grip on you was tightening, making you frown a bit as you looked at him, noticing the tears and the fact he was panicking, making you grab his face gently and rubbing your thumb over his cheek.

You gave him a warm smile, letting him know you were there for him without saying anything, giving him all the time he needed. Tamaki nodded a bit, knowing you were there for him always and held you closely, not letting go until he calmed down.

You continued holding him close to you, rubbing circles on his body and whispering sweet nothings, comforting him as well as you could. You might've not thought so but Tamaki thought you were the best at comforting him, it was one of the things he loved about you.

"It's okay Tama." You told him after he was fully calmed down, placing soft kisses on his face, making him smile a bit. "I love you," Tamaki mumbled, looking you in the eyes and not realizing he said that out loud.

He was just thinking about how much he loved you, freezing when he realized he said it out loud, noticing your face having a look he couldn't understand. Tamaki cursed at himself for being so stupid, already wanting to sink through the ground as regret creeped on his face, the poor male not knowing you always felt the same way.

"I love you too, I really do." You smiled, making him blush slightly as you pecked his lips. You loved him? That's all he could ask for as you comforted him, holding him closely and giving him soft kisses.

After being together for so long, it was the first time any of you said those words and honestly, it felt like there was no possible better moment for you guys to say it as he searched for comfort in your arms.
