Alternate Adam and Barbara rushed over towards Lyds in an instant, giving Lydia enough time to get up and move off to the side. Lyds was overwhelmed by the amount of attention her Adam and Barbara were giving her. But she closed her eyes and relaxed, wrapping her arms around the closest ghost to her. Her Barbara.
After a while, alternate Adam and Barbara parted from the hug that they were giving their Lydia, and she looked between the two ghosts.
"Woah, guys...." Lyds paused enough to let out a laugh. "I think that was a little too much..."
"But you were killed!" Alternate Barbara again wrapped her arms around Lyds, giving her a hug that practically screamed, 'and it better not happen again.' After a brief while, alternate Barbara parted and remained sat on the floor. Her Adam moved to sit beside her. "We are never going to let anything like that happen again."
"My Barbara, I have to die someday you know."
"Just not now! And definitely not here!" Alternate Barbara stressed, moving a strand of her curly brown hair out of her eyes and directly behind her ear. Lyds let out a quiet laugh and rolled her eyes, sighing heavily and shaking her head.
"What happened?" alternate Adam spoke up.
"The Juno of this universe kept my soul trapped in a room in the Netherworld once she'd murdered me. Luckily, it was in a room that made it easier for my soul to return to my body when Lidi touched my body. Which is still pretty interesting, if you ask me." Lyds turned her head, glancing over towards Lydia with a smile. "Thanks, Lidi!"
Lydia nodded, and turned to continue a discussion with her family. Most likely having to do with how they were going to help them get back. Most likely how they were going to keep Juno from interfering. The longer they kept Juno from trying anything, the more likely it was for them to get alternate Lydia, Adam and Barbara back to their own universe. It just had to take them time to figure things out. Alternate Adam, Barbara and Lydia decided to leave them to it for now.
Though Lyds glanced at Lydia before glancing back at her Adam and Barbara. "How long's it gonna take! I miss being in my own universe!"
"Soon enough," alternate Barbara gently and calmly reminded her, using her powers to tie Lyds' hair back into her messy bun of a ponytail when she noted that it had fallen out of the style. "But let's just let our alternate selves and the Charles, Delia and Beetlejuice of this universe talk things over first, before any of us do anything. And besides, we don't even know how to get back through the mirror to our universe."
"Well, maybe we can all talk things over now?" Lydia suggested, causing Lyds, alternate Adam and alternate Barbara to turn their heads in her direction. "Beej says he thinks he knows a way to help you get back to your universe."
Alternate Barbara and Adam stood at the same time as Lyds did, the three of them making their way over towards their alternate selves and their family.
"So, tell us," alternate Barbara quipped, resting a hand on her hip. "How exactly do we get back to our own universe?"

The plan was simple. As Beetlejuice had explained, all they really needed was both Lydias, both Adams and both Barbaras. Though he didn't exactly explain why, it was far easier for them to guess that it was a lot like earlier. When Lydia had managed to bring Lyds back to life just by simply touching her hand against the latter's heart. However, Barbara still had her doubts. She turned to Beetlejuice.
"Wait? Are you sure this is going to work? They don't... have to, like, step through the mirror to get back to their own universe?"
"Well, if helping them get back to their own universe by connecting with them, establishing a doorway, doesn't seem to work, then maybe we can give that a try," Beetlejuice responded simply, hair color shifting to a deep greenish grayish blue. "But we would never know until then, would we?"
He shrugged at the last statement. Adam rested a hand against his forehead and let out a quiet sigh.
"You know what?! Why don't we just stick with your idea, Barb? So that we can at least say goodbye to our alternate selves and Lydia to hers."
Barbara glanced towards him, a smirklike smile crossing her face. "At least you agree with me!" She turned to face her alternate self, alternate Adam and Lyds, looking between the three of them. Barbara stepped towards alternate her, Adam to his alternate self and Lydia to Lyds. The two tearing up teenagers exchanged hugs as both Adams and both Barbaras said their goodbyes. Lyds parted, wiping said tears from her eyes as she looked at Lydia.
"So, I guess this is goodbye?" Lydia wiped a tear from one of her eyes as it formed.
Lyds glanced at her Adam and Barbara before looking back at Lydia. "Yeah. For now. But we will hopefully be able to see each other again. If that doesn't happen to involve me ending up in your universe again?!"
Lydia blew a chuckle out her nose. "Yeah..."
"But I promise you I can hopefully talk to you through the mirror again after I get accustomed to my own universe," Lyds said, pulling Lydia into another hug. One final one before she and her Adam and Barbara headed back through the mirror to their own universe. They parted after a while, when alternate Adam and Barbara shouted for Lyds to stand over near them. It was time they headed back.
As Lyds moved to stand over near her Adam and Barbara, Lydia couldn't help but shout out to her,
"Goodbye for now!"
"Bye!" Lyds shouted back as her Barbara rested a hand on her back and ushered her over towards the mirror.
And, with that, Lyds stepped through the mirror back to her universe, followed by her Adam and Barbara. Hopefully, hopefully, this wouldn't be the last time that they would be able to see their alternate selves. If they ever saw them again.
For the Lydia Deetz of this universe, that was exactly the case.
As Lydia turned to leave the room and follow after her family, a familiar sound in her mirror caught her attention. She turned to find Lyds in the mirror smiling at her. Lydia quickly called down to her family that she would be downstairs in a moment, and turned to look at the attic mirror and at Lyds.
"I thought you were going to take some time to readjust to your own universe?" Lydia asked in an amused tone.
Lyds couldn't help but roll her eyes in response. "Yeah... I'm gonna do that, but later. I just wanted to catch up with you."
"You know you can do that anytime, right?" Lydia commented with a chuckle.
"Yeah, I was planning on it." Lyds looked down for a brief moment before looking back over at Lydia. "You wanna take some time to talk?"
Lydia glanced at the attic door for a moment, then turned back towards the mirror and back towards Lyds. "I have some time. So... tell me: what's your universe like?"
"Come on! You were in my own universe for an hour." Lyds blew out a chuckle out of her nose, lightly punching her mirror as a way to joke around with Lydia. "Why else wouldn't you know what my universe was like?"
"Just in your room! And even that was a mistake!" Lydia shouted back. "But seriously, what's your universe like?? Tell me! I really wanna know!"
Lyds couldn't help but roll her eyes, adding, "much different from yours, that's for sure!"
