Hange x Eric - Too reckless

Hange and Eric loved experimenting with Titans together to the point where Moblit not only had to worry about Hange's safety but Eric's too. Even when they were supposed to be fighting the Titans Eric always took time to examine them before killing them.

The Levi squad plus Hange and Moblit were on their way to save Eren and Historia. They tie up the horses and head inside, they go over the plan one more time. Some people are still not okay with the fact that they have to kill humans but others have already gotten over it including Eric, one might even say he never was worried about it. Which was true he always said to himself if they attack you or your friends first then fight them, minus the whole hitting the anti-scouts on the head with a stick when he was younger. Once the barrels were done they brought them to the staircase. "Is everyone ready because if you mess up here you may not make it back?" Levi asked everyone either looked a little nervous or was nervous but all nodded and Levi kicked the first barrel down the stairs, everyone waited to take their positions. Once the barrel blew up the people using their odm gear went up as the people focused on keeping everyone hidden and took their positions, Eric was one of the people using his odm gear. Eric treated these people as if they were regular Titans but with many weak points. As Eric was swinging around looking for others someone went flying through the air, confused he looked over only to see Hange hit one of the pillars and tumble to the floor Eric perched himself up on a different pillar and looked down to see if what he saw was really true.

"HANGE!" Jean yelled out and it finally clicked for Eric that it was indeed Hange who just got thrown across the room. Eric didn't start panicking till he saw the trail of blood Hange left behind. He was too focused on Hange to see one of Kenny's men coming for him, he heard the sound of odm gear but it was different from him and his teammates. His eyes widen as he looked over seeing someone heading straight for him he quickly maneuvered out the way but not before one of the bullets grazed his side cutting him Eric went back and killed him, as the rest of Kenny's squad retreated Eric was the first to go down to Hange completely ignoring his own injury.

"Hey Hange are you okay!? Please tell me you're okay!" Eric asks worried, he only got a groan from Hange. Eric rolled Hange over to see them covering a wound and their eyes squeezed shut. "Come on Hange we can't stay on the ground." Eric said helping Hange up, Moblit came over and helped as well. They retreated to where Sasha and Armin where and waited for the others to come back as well. It wasn't till everyone got there did they realize Eric had gotten injured as well.

"Eric are you okay!? You have a wound on your lower left side!" Armin asks worriedly.

"I'm fine it's only a scratch Armin." Eric says brushing it off. Later on while they were going to save Eren and Historia they see lightning flash and the place starts rumbling.

"Armin Moblit take Hange and Eric and find a way out of here we'll go through that opening up there and get Eren and Historia." Levi says.

"No way I'm coming with you guys!" Eric protests.

"Eric you're injured you wouldn't be much help." Armin says pulling him away.

"It's really not that bad I don't even-" Eric started but stopped after he got a glimpse of how big the cut really was it was a good couple inches wide and deep, he also hadn't realized how much he was bleeding.

"Now you see what we mean now go!" Levi said. Once they got out the ground beneath them started breaking. They jumped over the crack and fell on the floor they looked over to see a Titan emerging from the ground.

"What is that thing!?" Moblit asked his voice giving away how scared he truly was.

"I don't know but it doesn't seem to wanna stop growing anytime soon." Armin said as they watched it get bigger and bigger. Soon Connie and Sasha emerged from a hole everyone sighed in relief.
