Hatred

Chapter 16: Welcome Luci!

Where the heck were the Strawhats during all this?! How the hell did they not get caught by the Marines?! Well the answer is simple, not quite. Before Luffy and Brook could even go to rescue Luci from being stabbed, Brother Patrick ran off with Luci in his arms. Sanji, Chopper, Brook and Luffy ran after him. Just when they thought they caught up to him, he disappeared. They were ready to kill him for hurting Luci. "Luci-San!" Brook shouted out in anger. Chopper shrinks down back to his normal size. "We will find her Brook." He said determined. "I must find her. I will not let her go." Brook said wanting nothing more than to hold her in his arms.

Before they could hatch up a plan, the Marine ship was hedging towards the island and it was in clear view. The 4 then decided to go back to the ship and with the others to see what they could do. Luffy did not want to leave without fighting Patrick but Snaji had no choice but to drag him back to the ship. As they arrived at the ship, the others were waiting on it. All four got on as quickly as they could. Franky drives the ship away from the island and into the open sea. Nami walks up to them . "Where is Luci?" She was of course worried. Chopper did the explaining as Ussopp and Robin tried to calm Brook and Luffy down, who were still furious.

Nami gasps in surprise. "It can't be true." Zoro walks up to them. "That bastard must be with the Marines then. Let's go at them." Luffy looks up at him and nods. "He will fight me!" Ussopp screams at him. "You can't take him down yourself. The Marines will go after you too then us. We have to think of a plan so we can save her that doesn't involve her or us getting hurt." Chopper looks over at Nami. "By the way, are the people on the island okay?" Nami nods. "They left already. They will be safe on a nearby island. They all made sure to have plenty of food and water for the trip. They have been planning this for so long. Now they are all free."

Brook looks over at Robin who is assuring him that Luci will be alright. "Robin-san, does love make you do crazy things? I want to kill the man who has harmed her," She nods. "Love makes anyone do crazy things. But I am sure Luci can fight him herself and will return." "I hope she does. Luci-san means so much to me. I have only just met her and already want to keep her safe and tell her everything she wants to hear. I want to hold onto her and never let go." Robin smiles hearing him speak kindly of Luci.

Several minutes go by and suddenly Franky spots something far off. "Oi! I see a boat super far away." The crew looked over the edge and saw that it was a dinghy. That dinghy was heading towards them. They didn't know who it was until it got close enough to show a person. That person....was Luci. Franky was the first to notice. "Luci has been found!"

Luci saw the ship and the crew. She was crying tears of joy as she was heading towards them. "My friends!" She shouted out, hoping it would reach them. She rowed as quickly as she could. She finally found them. She was ready to hug them all and tell Luffy what he wanted to hear. She was ready to see Brook most of all. She was ready to express her love for him and be with him.

As Luci drew closer, Luffy used his powers to grab her. "GUM GUM! GRAB!" He stretches his arm out to her and grabs her. Luci smiled wide and was ready for a ride. The crew members were excited to see her again. It was like a piece of the puzzle was missing and she was finally right there to complete it. Luffy brings her back onto the ship and places her in front of him. Lcui was now back on the ship and with everyone. "I'm home!" She shouted out.

Chopper was the first to hug her with all his might. There were tears coming out of his eyes. "Luci! You're safe!" Luci winces a little. "I am so glad to be back. Chopper, can you please help me with my wound on my back?" Chopper nods. "I will treat the stab wound and make sure you are okay." Nami and Robin hug Luci next. Nami cries as well. "It's all my fault you got kidnapped." Luci looks at her. "It was never your fault. I should have been more careful. I promise, I will stay by you and Robin's side when we go shopping." Robin smiles down at her. "I knew you would handle this. You are a warrior." Luci chuckles at the statement.

Sanji goes up to her. "Luci-chwan! I will make you a delicious meal to celebrate your return." Luci smiles at him. "Thank you, Sanji. You are too kind." She then looks around and sees the one man she was hoping to see. "Brook..." She smiles at him with tears. Brook was already crying. "My angel.." He said while smiling. Luci runs up to him and he catches her in his arms. They both cried as they held each other tightly. The others watched in amazement. A skeleton and a human in love. Luci lays her forehead on his and wipes her tears. "I never thought I would find love." "Neither did I, but if I had a heart, it would be beating fast with love." He said softly for only her to hear. Luci giggles. "Home Sweet Home"
