Epilogue

After Luci got her wound treated, she gathered everyone outside. She has changed into a yellow sweater with shorts and a pair of black boots. The pendant choker she had on when she met them is long gone. Luci felt more human. She takes a deep breath and looks at Luffy,

"Luffy, let me formally introduce myself." She takes out the wanted poster she had before out of her back pocket and shows it to everyone. "I am a wanted woman. My name is Luci Fer. I am known as 'The Devil's Child' . I have the power of a Devil Fruit. I have been tortured and trained to kill. But that is not my goal. My main goal is to free all those in cults around the world. I would be honored if you made me your official crew member. I can learn to be a swordswoman and use my powers for good. I will swear my life to Captain Monkey D. Luffy of the Strawhats. I will remain loyal to the captain and the crew." She looks at Luffy, waiting for a response. Luffy smiles at her. "Welcome to the Strawhats, Luci!" Everyone cheers and celebate Luci becoming a Strawhat. They celebrate all day.

During the celebration, Brook and Luci go missing. Robin looks for them and spots them behind the pole in front of the ship. She smiles and leaves them be. Brook was laying down but leaving against the pole. With his knees up, Luci sits on his waist, leaning her back on his legs. They look at each other lovingly. Luci was the first to speak. "In every story I have read, it always had a happy ending. I never thought I would get mine but fate has its ways to make it happen." Brook chuckles. "I get a second chance at life and now I get a beautiful girl to fall in love with me."

Luci takes his hand and laces their fingers together. "Nami told me about how you would ask to see her and Robin's panties. I am surprised you didn't ask me." "Well, I guess I wanted to impress you and be a gentleman around you. I changed that part to impress you." Luci chuckles. "I see that. Now that we are together, will you tell me the tales of your past and teach me your song?" Brook places his free hand on her cheek. "Anything for my angel." Luci smiles and blushes at his response. Luci was now happy in her new home. Everything she went through led up to this. She wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
