"No way!! I'm gonna be the first one to reach the room", Felix giggled as we raced upstairs to my room, wanting to be first one to get the nuggets.

"Be careful kids!!", our parents laughed downstairs, but who cares when it comes to my mom's chicken nuggets. Both of us reached my room at the same time and jumped on the bed and grabbing on my red elephant.

"Let go!! I came first!", Felix giggled. He held onto the elephant as if his life depended on it.

"Wow man...... is that elephant your life supporter?", I laughed as I let go of the elephant. He nodded aggressively with crazy eyes. I sighed.

"Your mom's nugget is my life source!!", Felix rocked back and forth, chocking my elephant. "Too bad I don't get to enjoy as much as you can."

"Only in your dreams!!", I scoffed. "You are the only one who's gets to enjoy them the most!"

Felix gave me a huge smirk, making me laugh hard while I clutched on my stomach as it was now starting to hurt. He jumped on me and ticked me on my most sensitive spots, as I low key yelled, trying to get off his grip.

That's when my mom entered.

"Now now kids, everyone gets these nuggets. Have them equally okay?", she sweetly said as she placed the tray on the bed and a Felix being the first one to have the biggest one.

"No fair~", I whined, but I was too late. He already placed a big bite on the nugget, a victory smirk plastered on his face as he happily chewed on. I smiled a defeated smile.

"Wanna build a birdhouse?", I suggested and Felix immediately agreed.

Out teamwork helped us reach out to the stationery box which had everything we needed. We then started our way to the treehouse, which was basically our parallel universe as Felix said.

We started off by gluing the ice cream sticks together, making the walls of the birdhouse. Next, we proceed to make the roof and then breaking the rest of the sticks in half to make the fence.

"You can colour whole thing", Felix said as he handed me the colour box. "I'll be back in a bit." He ran outside and brought the tray of nuggets, feeding me while I coloured the house and the fence.

"We forgot the bowl....", I said as I looked around for something like a low depth cup or a small bowl to stick. Felix ran out with the empty tray, running back to the place with a small bowl and some seeds.

"Quick!!! I spotted two birds!! They have to visit before they leave", Felix rushed me, as he stood there, jumping on his toes, occasionally catching a glimpse of the outside. Once the bowl was set, we poured a good amount of seeds in it and set the house outside.

No sooner, two birds came and sat themselves, their legs clutching on the little railings of the house.
