The room echoed with our screams and shouts, while Chan continued to break random things. We now stood at the centre of the room, surrounded with broken pieces of glasses everywhere and upturned tables.
"IT'S NOT A SIMPLE MATTER", he yelled at me, stepping closer towards me.
"It is Chan, you just making a big deal out of it", I said, trying to stay as calm as possible.
No sooner did I finish the sentence, than his hand went up and I felt a sharp sting on my cheek, followed by the same pain on the other cheek as well. I lost my balance and sat down on the couch, my eyes brimming with tears. Chan realised what he did and put a hand over his mouth.
"I... Muse.... I-", I didn't let him complete the sentence as I ran off to my room, lock the door and started packing.
Even after knowing that I was constantly beaten in the past, he slapped me.
I threw some clothes, some books and other necessities in the suitcase when Chan entered the room with the help of the duplicate copy of the key.
"Muse.... Please.... I didn't mean it.", he tried to bring me into his embrace, but I flinched hard.
"D-Did you think that.... I was gonna hit you?", he asked, his crying face staring at mine in disbelief.
"I.... I don't know....", I quickly ran out of the room, while Chan followed me, pleading me to stay.
I grabbed my car key and when finally in, I texted Lavender, my built up tears finally find its own freedom.

I zoomed off to her house. Ivy, Hyunjin and Felix also lived with her.
On arriving, I saw her standing on the porch with a big, elder sister smile. When I got out of the car, she opened her arms to welcome in with a warm hug.
"Hey! It's been long-", before she could completely her sentence I ran into her arms and hugged her tight, almost not letting her breathe and completely broke down.
"H-He hates me", I cried.
"Before you say anything, come inside first", her motherly instincts acting up.
She sat me down on the couch and Ivy came running along and the both of them listened to my story.
"Was it intentional? Or by an accident?", Ivy asked, after listening to my whole story.
"I-I don't know.... But- but", I said, but I can't finish my sentence as I was panicking too much.
"Its okay... You wanna watch K dramas later on? And Ivy go make her something to eat", Lavender said. The doorbell rang.
