The Road To Eden !

Delhi Be Ready

It's morning 5 AM ,
                                I have to reach the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) Airport before 7 AM . Then we will leave Bengal and go to Delhi as we have our match tomorrow.
After finishing my breakfast I take a Taxi to go to NSCBI airport.

After some time , I meet our captain Sambaran Bannerjee. And many more players . I just find Snehasis Ganguly is talking to a Boy . Its already 6:15 AM . So we get into the plane . I am very happy as I get the window seat . A boy sits beside me . Looks like he is very serious . I think not to mess with him . Suddenly, our skipper Sambaran Bannerjee comes to me and says ," Its your first. If any of you feels trouble then  please call me ."

I say ," Yes Sir . I will . "

The other boy says ," Ok . "

After 5 minutes the plane starts to take off. I am very curious as it is my first time in plane . It is amazing to see the outside through the window . The Boy beside me is reading a book .

I asks him ," Hi , What's your name ? "

He replies ," I am Sourav. And what's your name ? "

I reply with curiosity ," I am Joy . Nice to meet you Sourav ."

I spread my hand to shake with his hands . He looks at me as like a hawk looks at his food . He again starts reading the book without shaking hands with me .

I think ," Bah .. What kind of person it is. He has no manner ."

Suddenly someone calls me from backside and it's Sourav .
Sourav spreads his hand as he wants to shake his hands my me .

He says ," I was reading the noble of Rabindranath Tagore. That's why I did not shake hands . Now it's finished . Let's talk ."

We have been talked for about 2-3 hours. Now it's time to land on the ground .

We again tie our seat belt .

Sourav asks me ," Is it your first time on plane ?"

I say ," Yes . It is ."

Its 5 PM ,
                 We are in a hotel just beside the Delhi stadium . We will play the final there tomorrow at 11 AM . I am ready to give my best  .

Suddenly, someone calls me by the hotel telephone. He is our Skipper Sambaran Bannerjee.  He says me and other team members to come at his room . We will decide the strategy.

We are in Skipper's room . Sambaran Bannerjee declares our team for next day.  I am very excited as I am in that team .

Skipper says ," Ashok you have to bat at middle order and Sourav you have to ."

Ashok ," Ok . That's great but we have two debutants . Don't they feel pressure? "

Skipper says ," That's why I want to send an experienced player after and before the Debutants ."

Ashok ," Ok . Then ."

After a discussion of 2 hours, we take our dinner . We have to eat light food as I have to be fit for next day .

After taking our dinners . We go to our own rooms to sleep . Its 9 PM only. We have to wake up at 4 AM because we have to do your practice as we did not do our practice today well. 

     Delhi Stadium we are here now
