Chapter four

Third POV~

10 years have passed since that fateful night and lots have changed since then, Temari and kankuro barely speak to him unless they need to but when they do, they look at him like one wrong word and it's off with their head, Gaara hasn't done anything critical to them unless you count him bruising kankuro when he gripped his arm too tight and a large bruise on his neck when Gaara choked him.

but Gaara doesn't think he did much wrong to kankuro, he was annoying him and Temari and decided to make his annoying voice shut up, and with Temari, he never did too much to her only an occasional telling her to shut up and pushing her out of the way but that's all.

Gaara held no resentment towards Temari, after all, she was the one to take care of him the most when he was a child but she doesn't anymore, she fears him now and he hates it. sometimes it hurts his feelings how she does but he denies it hurts his feelings and that he doesn't give a shit about them being scared of him.

the situation with his dad is much different now, he moved out a few months after and lived somewhere else and barely paid for their bills so they had to work for the food and other stuff, when his dad would come by he stayed as far away as he could from Gaara, not like it bothered him at least he would be as far away from them as possible.

although his father stays far away from him, he still gives Gaara dirty looks and acts like he's the bigger man, yeah cause who was the one who got their leg broken by their 6-year-old son? I'm pretty sure that was you rasa

but that didn't change the fact his dad would send assassins and hitmen after him 2 or 3 times a month, it was annoying cause he could pay them to kill Gaara but not for their bills? how annoying.

Gaara is 16 now and got into U.A by recommendations from his dad, and was accepted into the hero course class 1-a, it's not like Gaara actually wanted to go to UA in the first place since it was forced upon him but now he's just going for the hell of it, well that's what he would say but we all know he's doing it to support Temari and kankuro but of course, he'll deny it and say he doesn't care, which sometimes he doesn't

Gaara has trained for years with his quirk, including bonding with shukaku so their combined attacks would be more powerful but it doesn't change the fact shukaku wants to go on a bloody rampage most of the time, Gaara has difficulty controlling him at those times.

he has also worked on his physical strength and spar with kankuro, some times Gaara will spar with kankuro just to beat the shit out of him for his sick humour, sometimes it makes Gaara want to laugh at his state afterwards but he tends not to

as of today, it was the first day of UA and Gaara was about to head off to school when Temari stopped him "uh hey Gaara, hey I made you a bento box" she waited for him to respond but all he did was stare at her, a few seconds later he took the bento box and walked out the door.

Temari smiled in delight that he actually took it instead of ignoring her like he usually would, even though Gaara didn't say anything to her like thanks, him taking it was enough to make her smile.

with Gaara he placed the bento box carefully into his backpack and kept on walking to UA, on the train people automatically moved away from him, the aura this boy gave off put them on edge and unconsciously moved away from him but Gaara didn't care, better off alone anyway.

when Gaara walked into class there were very few people in the class, a boy with glasses and moving his hand robotically, a boy with half and half hair, a person with a bird's head and a loud blonde guy.
