Chapter forty-three

third pov

"Gaara.." the voice of shukaku was heard, slowly he opened his eyes, Gaara saw he was in his mindscape. "Shukaku..." Gaara frowned and kept laying down "so, am I dead?"

Shukaku was silent for a moment, "close to being dead, your heart is close to shutting down" Gaara nodded, he was ready to die the day his life became a living hell

Suddenly Gaara felt lighter, like the weight on his shoulders were gone, sighing in relaxation, he had never felt so carefree. It was nice

Shukaku looked gloomy. "what is wrong shukaku? Don't you feel at peace as I am?" Gaara asked with a small smile on his face, resting his eyes "Gaara...our heart just stopped, we'll go to the land of dead in a matter of time" shukaku pointed

"It was bound to happen shukaku...now we will be truly together forever" Gaara frowned, shukaku sighed "i guess you're right, let's go see your body that'll be cool"

Shukaku and Gaara laughed light-heartedly "okay" Gaara smiled big and closed his eyes, once opening them he held a small shukaku in his see-through arms

Looking in front of him, he saw himself in a hospital bed and the doctors trying to restart his heart, humming he looked at multiple students being pushed out of the room

Looking back at his body "so that's what id look like sleeping" Gaara poked shukaku "you look stupid as hell" shukaku snapped back, laughing Gaara walked around the room

When he came around the door he realized the people being pushed out of his room was midoriya, bakugou, mina, momo and todoroki who were all crying

Midoriya's POV~

We were in the hospital room with Gaara's unconscious body, I never realized how tired he looked...I wonder if he got a bit of sleep, at least I hope he did, midoriya thought to himself

Glancing over to todoroki and bakugou, they didn't look all too better than him, bakugou had his fists clenched and todoroki looked gloomy, momo and mina was in the room also

They held each other as they softly cried "he looks at peace.." midoriya mumbled, bakugou clenched his fists tighter 'if only I had taken him with me' bakugou cursed himself

Suddenly the heart monitor flatline, the others eyes widened, mina and momo covered their mouths to cover their sobs,

Todoroki launched forward, holding Gaara in his arms, shaking him, crying "Gaara no!" he started to sob as he went to do CPR on him, bakugou ran over to hold Gaara's nose

Midoriya ran out of the room "doctor! Doctor help!" he yelled hoping someone would come to their aid, a doctor ran into the room and quickly called for backup

Multiple doctors ran into the room, they quickly went to Gaara and started to help, two doctors came in the room, urging to push the students out "you need to leave"

"No way in hell I am!" bakugou yelled trying his best not to be pulled and pushed out of the room but little do they know Gaara was among them as they cried to get a glance at Gaara's dying body

"Okay ready 1 2 3 go!" shukaku said in a human form, Gaara nodded and they both started to dance markiplier style, shukaku and Gaara started to sing to match their dancing

"Them hips and licked them lips and that was it, I had to get shukaku in to sing some shit!" Gaara sang before pointing to shukaku "Two to the one from the one to the three, I like good pussy and I like a good tree!"

The four students sat in the waiting room in anxiousness while shukaku and Gaara had the time of their now over life

"Woooo go Gaara!" shukaku cheered, midoriya lifted his head "are you guys...hearing someone rapping?" he asked, bakugou glared at him "why the fuck would someone be rapping in a hospital Deku!"

Gaara and shukaku stopped dancing and singing as they felt as if they were being pulled "goddammit!" both yelled

a doctor came out of the room and smiled, all of them quickly stood up, hoping for the answer "well, we manged to save him, he should be waking up soon" the doctor finished, midoriya smiled and thanked him while the others ran into the room

gaara laid there awake, staring at the ceiling with a frown "gaara!" most of them ran over to him and tried to hug them but he blocked them with his sand with a sigh and didn't spare them a glance

"whats wrong gaara? are you sore?" mina asked but gaara kept staring at the ceiling "I was free...i was..happy" was all he said, now sitting up and staring right ahead of him "and you took that from me."

gaara held a hateful look as he clenched his fists before relaxing and sighing, he slumped his shoulders "whatever." gaara mumbled "gaara-san.." midoriya whispered "it doesn't mean I still cant be happy here right?"

gaara slightly smiled with his head low with a soft look in his eyes
