Chapter thirty-nine

third pov

today was the day they left for their training camp, Gaara was the first at the school as always waiting for everyone else with his suitcase "oh...Gaara, I'm not surprised you're here first" Aizawa said as he showed up with his usual tired face

"you're always here first, it's as if you don't sleep" Aizawa joked with a straight face, Gaara didn't laugh or smile as his words were true, he didn't sleep at all. Aizawa sighed as his joke failed to make Gaara make a facial expression 

he didn't expect much, he didn't see any emotion on his face other than anger, annoyance and usual blank face, well he does seem calmer around todoroki and he knows they have an odd friendship, trauma buddies probably

Gaara never thought of it before but he realized others will probably find out he doesn't sleep at all, not even todoroki knew but it isn't that big of a deal. others sleep during the night and he doesn't sleep during the day or night

after a while the whole class was there and it was time to get on the bus, Gaara sat next to todoroki and in silence, Gaara noticed the road they were taking was familiar 'hm, this looks like the way to pixie bob's place we went for my internship'

when they got off the bus it was a seemingly rest stop but Gaara looked at the forest 'this is not so far from pixie bob's place..' Gaara thought for a second 'dont tell me..' he looked at Aizawa "you don't actually think we stopped here just so you can stretch your legs do you?"

Mineta was running around for somewhere to go the bathroom, the car that was at the rest stop too opened the car door "heya erasure" Gaara froze and robotically turned to the familiar voice and just the person he didn't want to see. pixie bob.

Gaara tolerated her loud personality for a week and never wanted to come back, yet here he is.. "your feline fantasies are here see me out" Mandalay said, making an a-ok sign and looking through it 

"perfectly cute and cat-like girls" pixie bob said next, Gaara cringed at her movements and words "you can call us..the wild wild pussy cats!" both pros said while making a pose, Gaara acted like he didn't know her

"these are the pro heroes you'll be working with at the training camp." Aizawa said before midoriya but in with his fanboyish ways "they're a four-person team who specializes in mountain rescues!"

midoriya had a happy blush on his face as he stared at them in awe "the pussy cats were founded when we were kids! like forever ago" midoriya said and Gaara cringed, he knew they didn't like their ages mentioned 

"This marks their 12th year working as-" midoriya was cut off when pixie bob put her paw over his face with the claws out "I'm pretty sure your math must be off, I'm 18 at heart!" midoriya words were muffled when he said understood

"Everyone say hello," Aizawa said motioning to Kota and the two pros "hello, nice to meet you!" most of the class said, Gaara tried to blend into the crowd to say out of pixie bob's view but god was not on his side

"is that who I think it is~" pixie bob smiled and looked at Gaara, 'shit' both shukaku and Gaara cursed, pixie bob ran at him in a fast speed and hugged Gaara, he looked off into nothing with a blank stare that begged someone to kill him

"it has been so long Gaara!" she dramatically cried "... I wish it was longer" he pushed her away and went behind Aizawa, and glared at the pro hero who just laughed

Gaara wiped his hand on Aizawa's back with a dead stare, Aizawa froze "what did you wipe on me Gaara" "my faith." 

"We own this whole land and the training camp is at the base of the mountain" Mandalay pointed "why did we stop here then?" uraraka asked, 'it's obvious why..' "uhm back on the bus...quick" ser nervously turned around
