Chapter fourteen

Third POV~

"What's this?! Gaara is running right towards the minefield! What does he have planned?!?" Present mic yelled out to the crowd.

Gaara ran at a fast speed and was still quite a bit ahead of bakugou and todoroki who are fighting, suddenly he felt a click so he looked down and seen a land mine but he didn't stop and he kept going and not too long after an explosion could be heard but his sand stopped it from hitting him

The audience was quite surprised by this since Gaara did not seem to have been paying any attention to the land mines and kept on running with no falter in his steps.

Present mic spoke into the mic telling people who were in the lead and it was quite obvious it was Gaara, a few people among the crowd cheered for him as they put their bets on him and rooted for him, small pro hero's thought of having him as a sidekick but they're just going with appearances and popularity.

A loud expression was heard and Gaara turned his head slightly and seen midoriya in the air with a metal thing, clicking his tongue he turned his attention forward again and sped up.

He won't let someone like him beat him, he will have to earn his respect but so far he is nowhere close, paying close attention to where he was going he paid no attention to what the other three did as long as they didn't get in his way

Another loud explosion was heard and the sound of wind heading his way was heard behind him so he turned his head around and seen midoriya making his way to Gaara at a high speed

Glaring at him he turned forward again and once he heard midoriya just beside him he put up a sand wall which the green-haired boy smacked into and slid to the ground in a comical way, the people watching had to hold in their laughed since it was quite funny.

Gaara kept running at a fast speed and when he saw the entrance he sped up just a bit and as much as he could at the moment, midoriya who rubbed his head and slowly got up from the hard-hit, when he got back into reality and quickly started to run once again

Gaara made his way into the entrance and into the centre field, when he made his appearance the crowd cheered loudly for him

"First place goes to Gaara!! give him a round of applause media!!" He came to a stop as he got to the middle, they announced that they would reveal the results later and as of now they gave them a break, but honestly why does present mic have to go far and beyond

Midoriya who got second place walked up to Gaara nervously "Uhm good job Gaara kun" said boy turned around to the voice as his back was turned to the person

When he saw midoriya he gave no reaction and only nodded, soon after a pink girl hopped up to him and started to ramble, Gaara paid no attention to either and turned his back on them again, not too long after they started to reveal the places

Midnight started to talk and said the next game is about to begin and Gaara watched closely as it was revealed to be a cavalry battle, Gaara frowned at the game, this would require teamwork and he does not work with others well.

She explained the rules and the needs of the game but then "and the point assigned to the first place is... ten million" Gaara stared off to space 'huh..'

Gaara could feel the long and hard gazes of the other classes and classmates on him, the points he had were high as fuck and it was bullshit and now he actually had to work with others in order to play
