16. A rather unfortunate day

I woke up to the familiar feeling of being shook awake. I groaned as I sat up. Daylight filtered in through the shut curtains. My mind began to awake from dreamland, feeling reality as it sunk in, as always. Then I remembered. Friday 13th. I walked over to Charlotte, who was at the monitors, and saw white writing in the corner. Night 6. Crap. I pulled a stool down and once again drew and listened to music. A picture of BB came up. Why was I always drawing BB? I forced myself to draw Toy Chica. When I finished, it was 9:00am. Wow, 2 hours. I had a late breakfast and looked around.
"Guys, it's night 6, the A.I. is going to get worse," I said to the silent room.
"Oh." Natalie said. She was off in a corner, doing whatever on her phone. I sighed as Stephanie passed the maintenance panel over to me. The errors were coming up frequently and I had to pay attention to make sure nothing went wrong. Springtrap was on the move again, and it was a lot to deal with. 'Audio error', 'camera system error' and 'ventilation error' rang out on screen. 'Reboot all' I tapped and waited impatiently. As scary as this was, it could get quite boring.

After my 'shift' I went back to drawing. I don't think I would ever get sick of drawing. Once again I plugged in my headphones and listened to three days grace whilst sketching Freddy. Seph had left a pile of books on a table. I turned away back to my sketch as I felt the tears threaten to spill. I swallowed and blinked rapidly, pushing them back.
"Eve?" I heard a voice asked. I turned to see it as Fiona.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"Do you think we'll survive?"
"I honestly can't be to sure, but we can hope we guess..." I trailed off. Stephanie was playing Crossy Road, Natalie was threatening to break down into tears any moment at the maintenance panel. Charlotte was at the monitor and Misty was reading a book from the pile.
"I don't know, but it's what we got to do." I said.
"Yeah," she replied. Conversations were few and short, and I felt a little lonely I guess. But could we survive? As the hunger games said, 'May the odds be ever in your favour'. But were they truly?
