I woke up, taking a second to remember where I was. Annabeth looked at everyone. I had set an alarm for 6:30am and woke up as the alarm rang through my headphones. I turned it off and stretched. Most people were off in dreamland. Or nightmare land. Your pick.
"So, nothing bad happening?" I asked Annabeth.
"No, just toy chica trying the vent." She said.
"You want me to take over?" I asked.
"Okay." She said and went to her bed to catch a bit more sleep. I checked the cameras near us. No one. I checked the vents. The emptiness resounded as I saw the dark tunnels snaking throughout the school. I saw BB in a vent around Music Room 2. Nothing else seemed out of order. I brought up the other monitor. It said 'Ventilation error'. I quickly rebooted it before hallucinations began happening on the cameras. I continued this until 7:00am, where I shoved everyone awake. Quite a few people weren't that happy with being woke. At such an 'early' time. We had an early breakfast and I gave Stephanie the cameras, then decided to decide what I was going to do for the rest of the day. Mainly live in paranoid fear of something busting in no doubt. To calm myself down, I listened to mechanical instinct by the aviators, which was probably not the best choice, but oh well. I sat on top of the desk and started to keep a journal of this thing in my English book, because I doubt we're having English anytime soon. Everyone else went on to do their own activities. Weirdly, my phone wasn't allowing me to send or make calls, but still let me receive them.
Natalie's phone rang. She quickly answered, then put it on speaker.
"Hello! Hello! So, good job on surviving the first night! Most people move on... to... other things. That's right, other things. So, now we have a new anaimatronic, which is called Springtrap. Now, he knows exactly where the humans are, so you need to drag him away with audio. He'll move towards sounds, so keep a place far away noisy! And I will call you later, probably at night, to settle you in when Night 2 starts! Goodbye!" He cheerfully said. A little... too cheerfully.
"Yay. A new problem." Natalie said flatly. We all nodded. Safe and sound started getting stuck in my head for no apparent reason, and I forced it out. There is something about that song that ticks me off, I don't know why. Just what it means? I might never know. Seph was pretty quiet today so I didn't talk to her, knowing I would probably annoy her, so I just listened to music and wondered how we were going to get out of this alive.
"Um... Guys? Springtrap isn't in Lab 1 anymore..." Fiona trailed off as we came off to see.
"Look for him." Persephone instructed as we flicked through the cameras.
"There!" Natalie pointed, showing Springtrap's grin and decomposing face.
"Now we lead him away with audio." I said. Fiona pressed the 'play audio' button in the room next to him. The cameras turned to static. When it cleared, it showed Springtrap. We continued this process until he made it to Lab 1.
"Why is this happening?" Fiona asked.
"We put on the 10hr version," I replied. "But it seems our 10 hours are up."
