Take me to the sky

Chapter 17

Suga woke up from his bed with a headache. He runs his fingers through his hair and placed the palm on his forehead , looked around and realized he was in his home.

Last thing he remembered was sitting in the bar  and having some shots. But now he is in his room.

His thoughts ran wild ,‘How did I reach home? I walked by myself? But that’s not possible. I was so drunk that I can’t even stand up. I think… someone helped me. But who?’.

He got up from his bed with a huge confusion and went to the living room. He was surprised to see
his clean living room . Also he noticed that someone have done the dishes .

Now he become more suspicious ,
‘What happened the previous night? Who did this?’ Suga tried hard to recall his memory. But he couldn’t.

He suddenly thought ,‘This should be her because she is the one who can do this’ and walked fast to Haneul’s apartment suspiciously.

He knocked the door. But Haneul didn’t open. Suga thought she was
sleeping and continuously kept knocking but no one answered.

‘Why is she not answering?’, he thought himself and when he was standing infront of the door , his other neighbor lady saw him and asked, “What are you doing?”

Suga turned to the lady and said , “I am knocking the door for minutes. But nobody is answering”. The lady replied “Oh! Haneul went to her native place. She will be back in a week ”.

“When did she go?” , Suga asked in a doubt. The lady replied ,“Yesterday afternoon”.

Suga was more confused now because, yesterday afternoon he was in his house and practicing the piano . The lady looked at Suga’s reaction and walked away from there.

Suga thought deeply , ‘If it’s not Haneul, then who helped me the last night?’.

Taehyung got up from his bed and did his morning routine as usual. Then he went to the kitchen and saw his sister who was preparing their breakfast.

Tae walked to his sister and said , “Good morning”. His sister
greeted him back.

He came near to her and said, “Mhmm… smells good”. His sister looked at him and smiled. Tae continued to tell something , “I don’t know why but you look happy today”.

“No…I am being as usual. You are the one who looks happy today”, she replied.

Tae stretched his hands and said ,“Well it’s a lovely morning. So I
look bright”. His sister gave a soft smile at her little brother.

After a minute , Tae asked his sister ,“Did papa
come home last night?”.

And Tae's sister replied ,“No he didn’t come home yet. I wonder where he is”.

“I think we should search him”, Tae said with a concern. His sister replied , “Don’t worry about it. This always happens. He will return soon”.

Tae sighed with his thoughts . As they were in the kitchen, someone knocked their front door. Tae went to the door and opened it.

He saw an officer standing infront of him. Tae was bit shocked and said, “Hello” in a lower voice. The officer asked ,“Is this Mr. Geun’s house?”.

Tae answered ,“Yes, it is”. “Are you his son?” the officer asked back. Tae got worried and replied “Yes I am” with a lower voice.

While he was answering the officer , his sister came from the kitchen to see what was going on. And so she was shocked and confused to see the officer.
