Chapter 19

Tae's been tramping the streets with the puppy in his hands. He was wandering in the town for over 2hrs. His mind was devastated by the actions of his father.

Why he keeps doing this? He really didn’t care about him or his sister. Tae was hellishly disturbed by his father’s atrocities.

But he temped to stay calm for his
sister and he had hopes that one day his father will turn good. His mind was sinked in a deep thinking
that he couldn’t feel his legs hurting.

When he came back to his senses, he can feel his legs were hurting like
hell. He sat on a shady place with the puppy in his hands.

The puppy wanted some rest time too from Tae’s arms. Therefore he made the puppy , sit near to him so that it can stretch it's legs a bit.

Tae kneaded his legs a bit to rub the pain off. Then he sat there for a while with deep thoughts. The puppy licked his hand and played with his long sleeve.

All of a sudden, he was surrounded by some bad boys in the neighborhood.
Tae quickly pulled the puppy in his arms again.

One of the boys told him to hand over the puppy to them. Tae stood up and faced them straight saying ,“He is mine. I won’t give him to you.”

The boys tried to snatch the puppy away but Tae started to run from there. The gang chased him. He ran as fast as he could.

Then at one point, Tae was almost hit by a car and he tripped over with the puppy. The gang caught him and tried to snatch the puppy away.

One of the guys from the gang clenched his fist, ready to punch him. The car was Jimin’s. Mr. Dal got out and tried to stop their fight . But the gang didn’t listen his words.

Jimin was watching the things from inside the car and he can clearly see that they are trying to mess with Mr. Dal.

Jimin swiftly got out of the car to save Mr. Dal. He pulled a guy away who's trying to mess with Mr.Dal and said ,“Hey watch it. He is elder than you!” .

“Oh yeah? Who the hell are you?!. Trying to save this old one here”,
the boy said in a rude voice and the others were messing up with Tae.

Jimin said ,“Watch your words!” and the whole gang proceeded towards Jimin but Jimin stood there without moving an inch .

They can clearly see he was not afraid. And they tried to punch him, he
defended. Tae tried to save Jimin without knowing who it was. Tae handed the puppy to Mr. Dal and helped him.

But when Tae saved him , Jimin realized and got to know it was Kim Taehyung and was shocked . He completely took some steps back.

After a long time, Jimin saw Taehyung. The old memories started to flow through his mind. Tae didn’t
notice Jimin yet as he was defending him.

Then the crowd started to form by seeing what’s happening there . Seeing the people gathering around them , the gang got a little fear and left them quickly.

Jimin looked at Tae like he found something precious. One of the persons in the crowd asked ;

#Person 1 : What just happened? Is everything alright?”

Mr. Dal : Nothing problematic. Everything is alright. Sorry to bother everyone.

He said this and bowed to everyone. The crowd started to disperse. Then Tae  turned back to check the person and shocked to see it was Jimin.

Tae never dreamt to see him again. But unfortunately the fate brought them back. They were looking at each other dramatically.

Tae's eyes were looking cold out of the blue.

And Jimin was feeling happy . Tae was trying to avoid him and control the emotions.

Before Jimin could say anything, Tae rushed to Mr. Dal , got the puppy from him and tried to leave . But Jimin
pulled his hand and tried to look at him in his eyes.

Tae avoided him and pushed him a bit to free himself from his grip. Jimin asked ,“So you won’t look at me? And you're still avoiding me.”

Tae couldn’t answer him. He just tried to leave from there. But Jimin said something again which made him to stop ,“Tae , please don’t leave me . I am sorry for everything that happened . Can you please forgive me ?.”

Tae answered ,“You think a 'sorry' could fix everything…but no” Jimin quietly stared at him with teary eyes. Tae didn’t want to continue the conversation , hence he forcefully got rid of Jimin’s hand and stomped away.

Jimin stood there with a shattered heart. Mr. Dal slowly walked to Jimin and looked at his reactions. He
never saw Jimin so emotional and clingy to someone.

Mr. Dal deliberately asked Jimin , “Master Jimin, are you alright? Who is he?”. Hearing those words , Jimin was nostalgic about his old days

All those memories flashed through his eyes in a fraction of second. It sent him back to his memory lane….
