Chapter 20

*Flashback*

Jimin and Tae were best friends. Tae was Jimin’s playmate . Jimin’s nanny used to take him to the public park when he was young to play.

And there Tae and Jimin became the best friends. Tae was Jimin’s relief
from all kinds of stress. When he felt sad and lonely Tae will always be there to support him.

Tae always has a special place in Jimin’s heart. Jimin was so happy when Tae was around him. They grown together and entered their teenage.

Every relationship has a hard point in their life and this was it. They were around 14 and one day Jimin visited Tae at his home. At that time Tae’s father was drunk and tried to attack Tae.

Jimin tried to save him and got pushed by Tae’s father. Jimin’s forehead got hit in the table and his head was bleeding , he was unconscious.

He was admitted to the hospital. Jimin’s parents came to know
about the things happened and his friendship with Tae. They want him to break his friendship with Tae.

So they planned to send him to his grandparents’ house which was far away but they made sure Jimin doesn’t know about it. Tae went to visit Jimin.

He saw Jimin who was lying on the bed. Mr. Lee was with him. Tae was little nervous to meet him even so Mr. Lee saw Tae standing nervously there and brought him to Jimin.

Mr. Lee knows how Tae is very important to Jimin. Yet he can’t oppose Jimin’s parents. Mr. Lee let the boys have some moments alone. Tae was sitting near to Jimin with his bowed head.

Jimin understood him and said ,“You won’t talk to me ?.” Tae slowly raised his head , looked up at Jimin. Jimin gave a soft smile. By seeing his smile, Tae’s face brightened. They both shared a giggle.

Tae asked “When will you come to the park to play again with me ?”.

“I think I will come tomorrow”, Jimin answered.

Tae said,“But how ? You are in the hospital now . How can you come tomorrow?.”

“Well Mr. Lee said that I can
go home today. So tomorrow I will come to meet you”, Jimin replied him back.

“Oh , what about the timing?”,Tae asked him.

“Um…morning around 10:30 am”, Jimin replied.

Tae grinned and suddenly in a second, his smile faded a little and he looked slightly to be worried. Jimin saw his reactions and asked ,"What happened Tae?."

Tae said something in a sad voice , “You will be my bestfriend until the very last right? Will our bond be everlasting ?. Because I heard that some friendship ends at some point. I don't know why but what if I left alone at the last ?. Will you always stay beside me?”.

Jimin said ,“Yah , aren't you believing me ? I will always be with you, no matter what happens. ”

“Then promise me that you'll never leave me alone?”, Tae showed his pinky finger to make a promise.

Jimin held his finger with his' and said ,“Pinky swear, I will always be there for you as a friend”. Tae gave a big smile.
