Sidharth's heart at that moment was filled with so much love for the mother-son duo that he could go to any extent to protect them off all the upcoming troubles. They gave out such homely vibes. That was what Sidharth had dreamt of; a family ,of which he had lost hope but as they say," there's always a little sunshine in the darkness." If not now then someday for sure. Shehnaaz and Shrey were his rays of hope. Here where giving up on almost everything he wanted to put an end to his life too, came two lifeguards out of nowhere pulling him out all through the vast ocean of sadness and hopelessness. He wasn't completely out of it but he knew he would be, with Shehnaaz by his side.
It had not been a long time since they had met, maybe time too less for somebody to fall in love but he knew things better and so did his heart. Hers was the face he would love to see every morning as he would open his eyes. Hers was the face he wanted to see before closing his pair of eyes even if they never opened again. He knew that she was his for she was the lost piece of his jigsaw puzzle. She was the support to his creeper, the small wind to his extinguishing fire, the water to his deserted life. Shehnaaz was the soul to his body.
Mostly focussing on the negative aspects of life we often do nothing but wait for miracles to lighten up our dull lives. Where do you miss the track? Well, here! It's no magic but you. It's no pixie dust but the never ending hope in you that pushes up you yet another time and that is where magic happens. All that we need to do is to stand by that one hope and keep going. It's all in the heart.
All those little things in life matter and we often tend to ignore them looking around for bigger things. No matter what you consider Shehnaaz to be, she did teach him what life really was. Sidharth kept going behind all the words like trust, loyalty, compatibility trying to have a healthy relationship with Shreya but neither of the two looked into the deeper part of those mere words.
What was it with Shehnaaz, Sidharth was in deep thoughts when he took out his phone, clicking on the notes and opening a certain note named Shehnaaz. What was it about? We didn't know but what it meant was that she did hold a place. A place so strong that he never stopped writing about her. Neither here nor in his books.
"Trust", he wrote dipping himself deeper in his thoughts.
"Sidharth yaar", she called standing behind him when all of a sudden he pressed the power button. He turned back to her, bewildered. Shehnaaz had looked at him with furrowed eyebrows. He was there for her. How could she spare any attention? "Tu phone mei lagne ko aaya hai Sidharth?" and he sighed. Thank God that she did not see anything. Not that he has a problem telling her where she stood in his life but she had recently come out of one trauma and he in no way wanted her to stress her mind. She would know at the right moment.
"Do minute toh laga Shehnaaz yaar! Acha chal chai bana and I'll be right back", he said resting his arm on her shoulders and placing a gentle kiss on her temple. Sidharth noticed her flushed face and how she blushed at the mere contact of his lips on her skin. How lucky was he to have her! "What happened baby? Ek aur doon?", he gave her a flirtatious smile as she whined running away. They were getting a lot closer after the recent incident. Shehnaaz sat on one end of the couch while Sidharth sitting on the other end tried coming closer every second. He jumped all of a sudden when something hard fell on his feet. It was a book. His book? It was tough for him to register that. Did she really read his books? HIS BOOKS? What more does God have in store for him, he thought.
Shehnaaz noticed his face. " Khush toh aise ho raha hai jaise book teri ho", she said taking him quite off guard. "Huh", he looked at her shocked. Composing himself he said, " Ahh no! It's just that I have read a book of his. He's an average writer". Shehnaaz snatched the book from his hand making a big O. "Average writer, dimaag theek hai tera Sidharth? Khabardar mere Sidharth ko average bola toh. Ab agar tujhe nahi pasand aayi toh isme us bechare ki kya galti", she said making him blush. "Mera Sidharth", he blushed again. Yes, she was talking about him. He did not even in his dreams think that the person he liked would like his books too. He grew into a deeper shade of red smiling sheepishly. Indeed he was hers. Wanting to hear more about himself he said again, this time hiding his tomato red cheeks, " Haan matlab he is good. Lekin.. Anyway! Little did I know ki tu fan hogi iski. Waise I think he potrays emotions theek thaak hi. Warna why would people read his stories?!"
" Sidharth tujhe pata kya tu na off hai! Kya who insaan bhi hai jise Sidharth ki stories nahi pasand?!", voiced out a typical fangirl. Her eyes shined as she talked about him. "Mera pehla pyaar hai woh! Sabse pehle hai woh mere liye. Haaye Sidharth! kisi din dikh jaaye maine itna zor ka hug karna hai na use", said Shehnaaz hugging herself in the air as if holding the writer Sidharth too close to her. This did not sit well with Sidharth. " zor ka hug karna hai use", he said mimicking her in a funnier way as he spoke in a voice way thinner than hers, making faces after everyword receiving a cushion on his face. Was he getting jealous of himself? Bhagwaan jaane kya hoga tera Sidharth. Hahahaha! " Abey zyada na karne ki zarurat nahi hai samjhi! Koi hoor para nai hai woh", Sidharth said again getting cut by her in between, " Para nahi usse bhi upar hai woh. That is problem na Sidharth! Yeh reveal hi nahi karta khud ko. Kaisa dikhta hoga woh", said an overly excited Shehnaaz, moving closer to him as she closed her eyes trying to imagine the Sidharth of her dreams!
No! He did not have abs, neither did he have Extremely bulged out muscles. He was in a good shape though. Height nearing six feet he had a well built chest adding to his looks with a face better than anything that existed for her. There he stood a dusky man with his hair dark drown in colour shining in between as in dipped in the sun. His eyes narrower as he squinted them looking at her. She gazed into his deep brown eyes and then noticing his long nose and lips ever so thin but added to his hotness. Hotness at the point was lesser of a word. She too smiled when she saw him smiling as she opened her eyes finding herself in the arms of the man she just imagined. Still in the daze she looked into the same pair of brown eyes as she whispered, " Just like you" and In an even softer voice he whispered back, " Or me", moving his hand out of her grip and holding her face tight. She held onto his hands like life depended on them, Everytime he tried pulling his hands out, she just held it tighter as to never ever leave it. " I like you Sidharth", she whispered.
