"Oh. Sorry!" Chaeyoung said as she bumped herself with a tall man on her way to their school building. The tall man's previously fine iced coffee is now covering his uniform. "I'm really sorry."
"Fuck!" The man exclaimed wiping his now coffee-soaked polo. "Fucking dyke!"
Chaeyoung felt her blood went up her head as she clenched her fists. "What did you say?"
"I said YOU'RE. A. FUCKING. DYKE." The tall student shouted, each word sending chills to Chaeyoung's spine.
"Didn't you hear me? I said you're a fucki---" The man wasn't able to finish what he's saying when another iced coffee was spilled on his body. "WHAT THE FUCK?"
"Oh, sorry I thought you're a just a talking garbage." The girl said looking at the taller man from head to toe. "Oh, my bad. You really are just a talking garbage."
With that, the girl turned her back to the annoyed guy and gently grabbed Chaeyoung's wrist to walk away.
"YAH! MYOUI MINA!" The tall man shouted which Mina just ignored.
"Dumb ass." Mina hissed. "Are you okay, Chaeng?" She asked but was stopped on her trance when Chaeyoung pulled her hand from Mina's hold. She looked at the younger girl and saw Chaeyoung's unreadable expression.
"Uh, y-yeah. T-thank you. I'll head now." Chaeyoung answered without looking at Mina. She then saw Yeri and walked towards her and the two disappeared in the crowd.
Mina was left standing in the hallway. It took her minutes before her feet mustered to walk. Chaeyoung's indecipherable face is still on her mind, but the previously unreadable expression finally made sense to Mina. She's the reason why that happened. Because of what she did to her before, Chaeyoung was put to that situation. Mina don't blame Chaeyoung if the younger girl don't her around after what happened. It's Mina's fault anyway.
Chaeyoung can't help to feel guilty after she left Mina in the hallway after saving her from the guy she bumped into. It would be a lie if she say she don't blame Mina even a portion for what happened to her, but she can't shake the feeling of guilt eating her inside. Not when Mina's not herself when she entered their room. Not when Mina got scolded for the first time ever by their professor for spacing out and not when the older girl skipped lunch.
"Where's Mina-ya?" Jeongyeon asked.
"Eh? She's not here?" Momo asked while popping a pretzel into her mouth. "Yeah, where is she?"
"Oh. Mitang said she still full and that she needs to finish some assignments." Sana who's getting her food outside a paper bag answered.
"Is she okay? She never skipped lunch." Dahyun asked concern.
"And she never not finished an assignment." Jihyo added.
"I saw her in the comfort room before I went here. She seems fine. Unnie even smiled at me." Tzuyu said getting nods of relief from the girls and Momo said something but no one seems to understand.
"Yah! Momo-ya! Don't talk when your mouth is still full!" Nayeon scolded. "Aish!"
All this chaos and Chaeyoung can't get herself involved. She finished her food as fast as she can and excused herself from the group saying she needs to borrow some books from their library thinking she could find Mina there.
When Chaeyoung arrived at the library, she sees no signs of Mina. She looks at the locker area and she's not there. She's not in her next classroom either and Chaeyoung can only think of one place..
