PART 33

"Mina?"

After preparing for school Mina heard knocking on her door. She quickly opened it knowing who's behind the door.

"Dad." Mina greeted. "Hi."

"Honey, I just want to tell you I'll be away for a couple of days." Mr. Myoui said.

Mina is really happy at how her dad improved since the night they've sorted things between them. He doesn't drink anymore, he focused on his work but makes sure he have time for her daughter.

"Away?" She replied.

"I'm going to Japan." Mr. Myoui said. "Thanks to you, I mustered talking to your mom."

Mina was not surprised his dad and mom are already talking to each other, but it really surprised Mina that her dad would go back to Japan.

"You'll visit them?" Mina asked.

"Just mom." He replied. "Your sister's here."

"Here? Korea?" Mina asked, shocked. How many times would her dad drop a bomb at her this morning.

Mr. Myoui nodded. "Anyway, I better get going now. Have your friends sleep here if you want."

"O-okay. Take care, dad."

With that, Mina was left dumbfounded in her room.

"So she's here? And didn't even contact me?" She said to herself.

Mina looked at her phone. "Nevermind." She then put her phone on her pocket, get her stuff and went to school.

"Mitang!" Sana shouted.

Mina looked behind her and saw her cousin running towards her.

"Hey." Mina chuckled. "You know you don't have to run, right?"

"I know." Sana smiled.

"Satang, what is it?" Mina asked after seeing Sana's hesitant face.

"Hmm.. So I heard Byulyi unnie is here." Sana said.

Mina suddenly felt cold. She was paralysed to the spot. Yes, she knows her dad is doing a really good effort to get their family back but she just can't shake away the pain she's feeling. The pain of being left behind.

"Mitang." Sana called. "Hey, are you okay? I'm sorry I just got excited when I heard it from dad."

"I'm fine, Satang." Mina forced to smile. "Dad told it to me this morning too."

"Dahyun and I kissed." Sana blurted. She did it on purpose to divert Mina's mind.

"Yah! You don't have to tell it to me." Mina protested. "Not you too. I've had enough of that from Nayeon and Jeongyeon unnie."

Sana laughed. "You're just like that because Chaeyoung and you haven't kissed yet."

Mina's eyes widened and she feels all her blood rushing to her face. "W-what? No."

"Wait, so you two already kissed?" Sana asked.

"No." Mina replied.

"No you haven't or No you have kissed already? Elaborate." Sana said.

"No as in no I won't tell you." Mina said and started walking faster to leave her cousin.

"Yah! Mitang! Wait for me!" Sana shouted.

After drowning in her thoughts since their first two subjects, Mina's thought instantly disappeared after seeing Chaeyoung entered their room.

"Hi." Chaeyoung smiled, sitting beside her girlfriend.
