"That's not fair!" Gina reaches for her book, held above her head. "I'm not even that short, you're just unnaturally tall."

Soobin just shakes his head and sticks his tongue out at her, keeping the textbook just out of her reach. When she jumps up for it, he laughs and pets the top of her head gently, his eyes crinkling up at the corners.

Gina folds her arms over her chest and turns away from him, leaning against her closed locker door. Soobin laughs again, leaning closer.

"Are you mad?" He teases, stretching the syllables out. She huffs and gently pushes him away before opening her door.

"No." Her gaze goes straight to the white flower in her locker. "I'm not mad. Why would I be mad? I can't be mad when I have someone who leaves flowers in my locker all the time."

Gina watches for Soobin's reaction from the corner of her eye, but he doesn't seem especially jealous or upset. If anything, he gets . . . flustered?

She grabs the small flower, smiling to herself as she gently strokes the soft petals. Unfolding the note, her eyes widen at the meaning of this simple flower.

White jasmine - sweet love

I've been giving you flowers for a while, and I can say confidently that I'm falling in love with you.

Gina rereads the note before thinking. It's been almost two months since she started receiving the flowers, and more than a month that Soobin and Gina have grown closer. After all this time, she's no closer to finding her secret admirer, nor figuring out her feelings about Soobin.

Gina sighs heavily before turning back to Soobin, grabbing her book from him. She places the flower in the locker, choosing to focus on the person in front of her instead.

She doesn't notice the worried look on Soobin's face when he sees her place the flower aside. She doesn't see the way his smile slowly disappears as he registers how upset she is. She doesn't see how Soobin types something in his phone quickly before hiding it.

She doesn't see any of it.
