"Today is the day."

Gina nods at Soobina after her announcement. He just looks at her, eyebrows raised over his glasses.

"The day for what?"

"The day I find out who my flower fairy is."

Soobin snorts, slapping his hand over his mouth when Gina glares at him

"I'm sorry, what?" He lets out another laugh, biting the inside of his cheek to stop himself, but it doesn't work. "Your flower fairy?"

She nods, shoving her hands in her pockets as she walks alongside Soobin.

"Yeah, that's what I've decided to call him. I don't know who he is or what his name is, but I feel bad referring to him as 'that guy'. So, he's my flower fairy." The tips of Soobin's ears turn red, but he ignores it and gently grabs her wrist, turning her to him.

"Then what am I?" He asks hopefully. Gina looks up at him, distracted by his small smile.

"You're my. . ." she pauses, thinking to herself before looking at Soobin evily. "The devil on my shoulder." Soobin's eyes widen and Gina runs away, laughing at him over her shoulder.

"Yah!" He chases after her, but she runs faster, reaching her locker before him. He catches up with her, a little out of breath. "I'm-" He takes a deep breath, holding his hand up. "I'm not a devil?!"

Gina nods, completely sincere. "You are. No other explanation needed."

Soobin narrows his eyes, leaning closer. He braces himself on the metal of the locker behind Gina, his hand right next to her head. Any closer, and their noses would be touching.

"Devil?" He asks quietly, all playfulness gone. "So does that mean you're more likely to fall for me?"

Gina swallows hard, captivated by this side of Soobin that she's never seen before.

"What do you mean?"

"Apparently, people tend to like the bad guy more," Soobin smirks slightly. "Would you like me more if we were enemies? It really depends on you. Are you 'friends to lovers' or 'enemies to lovers'? Your choice."

Gina watches Soobin, tempted to lean in and kiss him. Prove her feelings.

"You don't have to be my enemy to steal my heart," she whispers. Soobin smiles a little, his nose barely brushing hers before pulling away. He gestures to the locker, a knowing look in his eyes.

"I believe your flower fairy left you something."

Gina huffs, opening her locker. She barely catches a glimpse of the red flower before immediately going to the note.

Red tulips - declarations of love

Is it too late to say I love you? Truly, sincerely, I love you.

Gina turns to Soobin, taking a deep breath and looking up at him.

"I'm going to find out who this is." Soobin nods, a smile growing.

"He wants you to find out too."
