Sniffling, she makes her way down the hallway once again. Today, she's got a little cold, and hasn't been at class for the past few days. She's worried that her flower fairy hasn't come, but she holds out hope that she'll get those notes again.
It's crazy how we can get attached to something so small, so quickly.
Gina's a little disappointed when she doesn't see Soobin standing a few feet away. She meant to talk to him today, having felt bad that she's only using him to get to her admirer.
Opening her locker, she lets out a loud sigh, There's no flower or note. Her locker's just the same. Gina curls her lip at the rusty interior and slams her door shut, the loud sound echoing in the quiet hallway. She leans against it, mad at herself for having such high hopes.
It was probably a dare or something, she thinks to herself. She turns and leans against the metal, closing her eyes and letting herself wallow in self-pity for a moment.
Her pity party is interrupted by quiet footsteps. When Gina opens her eyes, she sees Soobin in front of her, holding a small yellow flower and a note. Her heart starts to race. Is it . . . him?
Soobin holds out the flower to her, a red blush making its way across his neck and cheeks.
"Ah, this is for you, I think?" Soobin gestures to the opposite side of the note, where her name is written. "This was outside."
Gina's face falls as she realizes that it's not Soobin who has been giving her flowers. For some reason, he gives her intense butterflies. The thought of him keeps her up at night, creating romantic scenarios in her head. He just seems like the type of person to give someone flowers secretly. But, Gina supposes, I guess he's not.
Carefully, she accepts the flower, smiling at Soobin.
"Thank you!" Hesitating, she looks up at him. "Were you able to see who it was that's giving me the flowers?"
If Soobin didn't look like a tomato now, he does now. Gina starts to get a little worried; is he overheating or sick?
"Ah. no, I didn't. I'm sorry." She nods, biting the inside of her cheek as she thinks to herself. Soobin starts to walk away before stopping and looking back at her.
"Hey," he says, making eye contact. "Whoever they are, they should treat you amazingly. Because you deserve it. Okay? They should make you feel loved."
Gina smiles to herself, looking down at the flower.
"They already do."
