"Kayden, what's that?"
"Star," Kayden said.
"Good job, Buddy," Josh said smiling.
For the Matthews a big thing they always did during the summer was enjoy their nights in the backyard having a barbecue and just having family over. Josh looked as Alan was grilling some steaks while he was stargazing with Kayden and Jace.
"Okay, Kiddos. Come, we better get washed up for dinner," Josh said as everyone sat up.
Josh smiled as he saw how his wife came out with their 11 month baby girl shaking his head as he saw how his sons ran inside.
"Quite busy those two. And what did you and Mommy do, Layla?" Josh asked taking his daughter from Maya.
"Diaper change. I'll make sure those kids wash up properly," Maya said as she went inside.
She smiled as she saw how Kayden was busy teaching Jace how to wash his hands while she was getting the salad ready in the kitchen. She saw as Josh and Alan spoke about the football season starting in September while Josh was holding Layla in his arms and saw how Amy came in.
"Football and sports are all those two talk about. Can I help?" Amy asked as Maya smiled.
With Layla's birth, Maya was thankful to have Amy and Alan with her. Even if she knew how to balance her work and family there were times when she just didn't know how she would have coped without the help.
"Nah, I'll be fine," Maya said as Amy went inside the bathroom seeing if the boys were coping.
