More Trials

ROXELLE POV

I wake up screaming. That scene, it repeats itself again and again. I sit on the bed and play around with my hair, until the Rat Man arrives again. "Roxelle, please follow." He motions for me to come with him. I obey, but keep on guard for any surprise attacks of the sort. He takes me to a room, and Thomas is there, tapping his foot on the floor impatiently.

"Thomas?! I missed you so much! But...you're dead right?" I yell out, with great excitement and confusion. He grins. "Well, WICKED can do amazing things." I shrug and take a seat beside him.

A while later, Minho, Newt, and Teresa walk in. A smile spreads across my face as I see Newt, and he mirrors mine. I pull him into a hug, and lightly kiss him.

We join the others and while we are happily having our small Glader reunion, we don't notice that new people have joined us. Ava Paige.

She clears her throat to get our attention. She explains this situation to us. The 5 of us, Thomas, Teresa, Minho, Newt and me, we were the "survivors". We were the crucial test subjects for the next phase of the Trials, the Faction Trials. 5 factions: Dauntless, Amity, Candor, Abnegation, and Erudite. They had been made based on personality traits, for Immunes to live.

We were taken onto a hovercraft, where the Chancellor explained more. We were assigned to factions, and we would live new lives there. Since Dauntless and Amity were lacking people, we would be split into the 2 factions. Newt, Minho, and I will go to Dauntless, while Thomas and Teresa will be in Amity.

It wasn't saying goodbye forever though, we would meet up once a month for a faction meeting.

We separated once we alighted from the hovercraft, and we were told to head to Dauntless headquarters, a few hundred meters to the East. We found a group of people dressed in black, from head to toe. Black shirts, black pants, black shoes. "You must be Minho, Newt, and Roxelle. Welcome to Dauntless, the brave. I'm Four, and this is Tris." A boy greeted us, and gestured to a girl beside him.

"Four. I think I'm the leader here." Tris whispered playfully. She gave us an option to change our names. "Jen." I said immediately. Newt realised what I was doing and copied. "Thomas."

"Well I guess I'm Aeden then." Minho shrugged, smiling. Recognising the trend here, we broke into laughter. Tris and Four looked at each other, not getting the situation. "Now, we'll introduce you to the other leader. We have 3 leaders." Tris told us.

We split up and wondered around the Dauntless area for abit, when a blonde girl got my attention. She looked surprisingly familiar. In a bad way.

Clarice.

"Hey, new girl. You're new right? I'm Arianne." She held out her hand, and I shook it cautiously. "Jen." She didn't recognise me. Good. "When...did you come here?" I asked, still on guard.

"Well, 'bout a few months ago." She had a strong Scottish accent. I tried talking to Newt, or should I say Thomas now, in my head. Newt? I mean, Thomas. Hear me?

Yea. Guess they didn't remove this ability after all.

Hey dude. Guess what. I saw Clarice here, but she didn't recognise me, she changed her name to Arianne.

A new voice entered the discussion. Aeden. Hey, hey people. What do you think you're doing, entering heads without permission. We can speak telephatically? Cool.

By this time, we had already reunited. I looked at Thomas, then back at Aeden, and we again laughed hysterically. "Actually, Jen and I already had it for quite a while." Thomas informed Aeden. "Good that." Aeden didn't seem to care much.

The sun was starting to set, and by then, more people had joined the discussion in our heads. Thomas and Teresa. They had changed their names to Dylan and Lynn.

Hey:) how'd you like the slight change in plot, and just note, only Four, Tris, and Uriah will be in this book. And I would be using their new names from now so don't get confused when I call Newt Thomas. BUT INSURGENT CAME OUT A FEW DAYS AGO I CAN'T EVEN WAIT!!! Well, we were supposed to watch it tomorrow, but my friend couldn't make it...so yea. Delayed to next Friday. Byeeeeee
