Hello,

It is imperative that you read this initial note as it contains trigger warnings and mature content that will be covered.

Pre-disclaimer: If you read Darling, and thought it was shit, me too; I promise this is better.

I want to reassure you that this will be a love story - it's just not your typical fairytale. It's almost like It meets Pride and Prejudice: horrifically romantic.

The main characters of the story will become/are members of The Knights of Walpurgis (Death Eaters). Their morals, beliefs and actions are unethical and wicked and I am not romanticising this. But Tom Riddle may kindly rail me any day, psychotic killer or not. And, of course, I will romanticise the hell out of him, because I am obsessed with, and in love with, him

Warnings:
- sexual content (detailed)
- explicit language (frequent)
- self harm
- murder
- sexual assault (hinted, NOT in detail)
- rape (will be hinted at but NOT mentioned in detail)
- kidnapping
- death
- suicidal thoughts
- false suicide
- suicide (NOT mentioned in detail)
- decline in mental health
- psychotic thoughts and actions
- manipulation
- toxic relationships
- gaslighting
- forced marriage
- torture
- different kinds of weapons
- depression
- grief demonstrated in different ways
- alcohol abuse

Chapters that contain sexual content or extremely mature content will be marked with an asterisk*. There will be no trigger warnings at the start of each chapter, to allow for suspense and mystery. So, please, read at your own risk and do not report!

Very important: I'm not sure if this story will stay on Wattpad for long so you can find it on AO3 - same username and story name as this one. Also, I have a backup account called @ohitslilliana where I will upload this story if it were to disappear.

If you do like this book, please make a big deal about it on TikTok and any other social media platforms, if you dislike it - pretend you don't. Seen as though I've been writing this instead of essays for my degree, I feel like I deserve it. Also, writing this book is as complicated as Parseltongue and I don't even know how I came up with some of this shit.

Anyways, I do hope you enjoy, and are prepared for the rollercoaster that is, Retrospect,

Lilliana.
