Chapter 12

"HELP THERE'S ONE UP THERE!"

"OH GOD HE'S PISSED!"

"Um, guys?"

"LASERS! WHY'D IT HAVE TO BE MORE LASERS?!"

"Headphones, Specs-"

"NOT NOW! THERES TOO MANY OCTARIANS!"

"JUST KEEP SHOOTING THE ORB!"

"It's just that-"

"You're running low on ink guys!"

"AHHHHHHH-"

A couple of minutes later, the group arrived at the end of the platform. Everyone was out of breath, well except for Goggles who had to sit through the entire thing much to his dislike.

Everyone had become sort of protective of him after he screamed out bloody murder some stages back.
So all Goggles could do was shoot the energy source while everyone else splatted any enemies in the way.

Goggles quickly sat up, anxious to get on his legs again, and followed his tired teammates to the next area. The four soon arrived at an ink rail, Specs and Headphones groaned, their tired bodies lazily balancing on the rail.

Goggles and Hachi had to help the two balance properly. They reached a new area, an elevator according to Pearl and Marina. The supposed elevator started moving upwards, leading them to hopefully the last stage.

"Ah, finally! We're finally getting out of here!"

"Headphones aren't you forgetting something?"

"What are you talking about Gog- Oh, right."

"We still didn't meet up with her yet."

"Hearing this conversation out of you two is not very positive at all! Bobble Hat is strong, she's probably waiting for us at the surface!"

"Yeah! You're right Specs!"

"Absolutely! Bobble is resilient like that!"

"From what I've seen of her, she definitely is highly capable of reaching her goals!"

The uneasy tension from earlier had disappeared, now being replaced with hope and determination to find their friend. It was short lived however, as the elevator had soon stopped working.

"AGENT 3!"
"GOGGLES!"

The blue inkling had looked up to where his name was called. His eyes widened to see Cap'n Cuttlefish and Rider tied up to a floating platform, circling above everyone. Along with the two, there was another octoling tied up and looking down at Hachi.

"HEY WATCH OUT!"

Ropes had suddenly shot out from the sides, tying up Headphones and Specs, pulling them to the platform where the others were. Hachi had barely dodged the ropes, while Goggles had slipped out of them, and his clothes.

He quickly dressed himself up, only to stop at Rider's sudden warning.

"Goggles! Look out! She's right above you!"

Goggles had looked up to the top of the elevator, where he saw a small shadow on a single beam, staring down at him. They suddenly jumped down, a splashdown ready upon entering.

Goggles and Hachi quickly dodged out of the way, but were soon paralyzed upon laying eyes on the attacker.

"H-hey, wait it can't be you!"

"... Bobble Hat..."
